Gotta agree with those who think maractite is too busy. I love the camouflage though! Reminds me of the real bunnies I see outside right now, changing from winter to spring. ^_^

I'm not sure how much it would all cost, but it's an expensive goal! Good luck! I don't have room in my budget for things like gourmet food club right now, maybe someday after all my goals are complete.

 

 

Currently, I couldn't imagine allowing my pet to eat a draik egg. :p I'm sure many people have done it though, especially those on the gourmet club high scores list.

I was sleeping when this happened, so it wasn't a bother here. :) I think I'm going to take most peoples' advice and not get my hopes up that it had to do with anything too important.

 

 

p.s. I noticed on Neopet's news page that they have "April 18" listed with a warning that the site will go down for maintenance on April 17. Has the news always been a "day ahead" like this? I don't think I've ever bothered to look closely at the date before. :o

Is it just me, or does every Stealth pet have Faerie Grundo eyes?

 

Certainly seems like it! I guess that's the stealthy "style," but I think it does go nice with the dark blueish base color. :) I was playing around with contacts to see if there are other alternatives and there are some that fill the whole eye space! (Just click "edit" to see more.)

I agree with most people here - TNT isn't really so bad and lots of people just like to be complainers. I enjoy the site, the events, and the content and I think they work hard to provide the services they do. However, I do think their customer service can be a little standoffish (if that's the right word?) from time to time.

 

I don't mind that TNT uses "cut-and-paste" responses to make responding to tickets faster

 

This is actually the only real complaint I have. I get that they're probably very overwhelmed, but there are glitches (e.g. with customization) that I've given up on due to the cut-and-paste answers. Even if you clearly outline the problem and the steps you've taken to resolve it, they'll just send a copy/paste with suggestions you've already tried, and sometimes responding to the ticket with further questions/information doesn't help. Faster is nice, but only if issues are still being resolved at the same time.

Finally received it. The trick is (or what worked for me anyway): After making sure you you have fought (not won) every challenger from all FOUR waves, then go back and fight one of the newest (wave 4) challengers once more.

 

This was the solution! Thank you. :D I'm not in any particular need of a healing scroll, but it feels good to at least complete an achievement. ^_^

I've played each challenger at least once (although I was unable to win against any at this level), but the achievement still isn't unlocking. Do you have to play them on a certain level, or all on the same day or something?

I start a diet today where 600 calories or less is my daily intake.

 

 

Gaming is the only hobby that makes me happy, but I have epilepsy. I've never had a seizure due to gaming. However, I'm very scared that I will start having them due to gaming.

Hmm... seems like a lot of work and I don't want it to end up hurting my team. I'm just going to keep playing the lower-level challengers, and hope that those extra wins mean something in the end. :)

I'm guessing like others have mentioned, it's a case of people buying them up since they're "retired", and not responding as quickly to the dramatic decrease in price of the new bottled faeries.

 

 

I'm curious though - does anyone think they'll drop back down? Would it be worth it to sell them now, or will they continue to inflate on account of them being retired? :o

My checkmark still turned gold today! I guess, if a green check is possible, it would be when the next wave has already replaced the previous one (like finishing the first wave now when the second one is here).

 

I think you're right. They warned us when the second wave was coming, probably so people could finish "doing their part" on the first wave before the second one started. I don't know of anyone that was incomplete before the second wave came though, so I guess we'll have to wait for official feedback.

I'm in the same boat as many others - not sure how many waves I've been able to handle after this one. I'm playing them on medium this time because I've had some really close calls on the hard difficulty. :o Good luck, everyone!

I took a screenshot for someone of their Notable Neopet and they said they'd like me to send it, and I'm wondering what is the normal process is for that.

 

I didn't see anything in TNT's rules specifically about linking to external sites, so I can I just upload it to Tinypic or something and neomail them the URL?

I think that the item order in the inventory should mirror that of quick stock though. What is now listed at the top of the inventory, is still listed at the bottom of the quick stock list and it's just a personal grievance because it's throwing off my efficiency.

 

I just started realizing this yesterday. I adapted to the new change really quickly but my brain keeps assuming that quickstock changed as well. If there was only a few items I needed to move via quickstock instead of my entire inventory, I could gauge approximately where in the list it would be. Now it's not so easy.

 

I guess the obvious solution is to keep a smaller inventory, but.... nahhh. :P It's not a bad change, but as of right now it's actually lowered my efficiency so it'll still take some getting used to.

Hmm. What are peoples opinions in terms of whether or not it's worth continuing battling after you've hit the do-your-part limit? I don't want to waste time battling if it's not going to help at all but I really don't want to let the side down either...

 

I wouldn't wear yourself out doing it, but like Mouseykins mentioned, the battledome gives out prizes now. Some of them are actually worth quite a bit of NP (bottled faeries, codestones), so it might be worthwhile to max out NP and item rewards for the battledome each day, even if they don't award extra plot points for it. That's what I'm doing! :)

I completed everything already too! Feels good to finally have this thing started. My pet isn't very strong so hopefully I can keep contributing for a while at least... otherwise, I'll have to be one of those "stand and distract" people or whatever Kanrik talked about when you first joined up. :laughingsmiley:

When I go to Coltzan's Shrine, I pay attention to what my pet says. I've always thought that when they're more humble ("Poor old Coltzan..." "Coltzan was a great king!" etc.) that I'll get a better reward than when they're snarky ("After this, can we go ...?" etc.). Sometimes it's true, sometimes it's not. But I still feel like slapping my neopets when they disrespect Coltzan.

 

I just went there and my pet said "Aren't there dubloons buried in the sand around here?" or whatever that phrase is and I ended up getting a dubloon coin! Now the phrases are making me superstitious instead of the times.... :laughingsmiley:

I agree with a lot of people on the mini games. I don't mind them, but it's frustrating when you execute perfectly and lose because someone has a faster computer than you. Also the glitches - I can't see how there's really a way to "cheat" on many of the mini games but I've seen things like a player's score still going up even though all the mud is gone in Petpet Pamper, for example.

 

 

It'd also be nice to deal with quitters but I find skipping turns to be an even bigger problem. I've lost so many games or been put at a disadvantage countless times because people skip turns to avoid dung piles, lint balls, etc. In the game I just played, a player with a Swap Keyring skipped a turn because they were right beside the door and I was going to pick up my 5th key on my next turn! Catapulted them straight home. :P

 

I don't really know how to solve those problems, though. Maybe if a turn is skipped the die just gets rolled automatically, but if the player lands on a mini game or something it doesn't go through (to make it fair for people who miss a turn because they're away).

 

 

The last few times i have played I have lost my cursor and it is impossible to play most of the games with out them.

 

I've been having this issue lately as well. It'll disappear after a mini game and won't come back until the next mini game, if at all. Very frustrating!
