Finding things. I'm a mad organizer, so seeing that there's a multiplayer lobby (yes, I found both!) and it isn't linked to from the games room or anything like that makes me die a little inside. I'm also fussy about concise and informative formal writing and instructions, so things like incomplete or needlessly verbose instructions grate on me. I'm the kind of person who takes 70 words away from a tutorial containing 700.

I've actually become much less concerned with pet names over the years. Not sure why; guess I can just do all the same things with dog1213 as with Candycane. More, actually, if dog1213 is a funky color ro customize and Candycane is plain.

I'm fairly confident that you cannot cheat at Key Quest other than quitting or skipping a Lint Ball.
 
My bar is always constantly moving when if I play Flower Frenzy.

EDIT: Remind me to only create my own boards from now on to avoid a fire token on Moltara with three super key grabbers. Talk about poor sport.

I've been single for awhile now, but I'm pretty okay with it. I left a 4-year relationship at the start of 2012, dated a little while without much success, and then just walked away from the whole thing. Strangely, I've never felt happier or more loved.

I've kind of noticed that the boards have developed an attitude the past few years. When you have people giving each other attitudes over their cool factor and percieved intelligence on a cutesy virtual pet game, you know something's not right.

You'd be surprised what people will agree to if it's all they've known and it's what they've grown up structuring their way of thinking around. As for the women who didn't grow up in a polygamous society and choose to join one where women are regarded as status symbols? Hell if I know. Hell if I know why women enter into half the relationships they do in our own society.
 
I'm not very versed on the way of polygamous societies, though I've heard my fair share of bad hype. I can't speak on the specifics of what goes on in them or make many judgments.
 
As for the children, I think it's wrong to deliberately teach children things that are false, deceitful, or damage their ability to think or empathize. If what children are being taught is sending them into a life where they're treated unkindly and unequally, then by my moral standards that is wrong - but there's plenty of that in our own society. When it comes to teaching children religion, though, I don't think that's wrong. Children rely on their parents to teach them the ways of the world, and much of that is educated speculation in the first place. Is it wrong for a parent to teach their child their opinion and experiences on how to job hunt? On how to handle post-secondary education and whether or not it's a good investment? On how to be a good human being? These are a parent's values and ideas which can easily have a personal bias or only a certain degree of truth, too, and a parent's religion is their best estimate at teaching their child about the spiritual side of life and at giving them the benefits of that.
 
Fundamentally (and speaking of poly in general), I don't think there's a problem with multiple husbands or wives. Adults should be able to structure and handle their love lives how they choose within the bounds of our best estimate at what's humane and healthy and what is not, and I'm very much for creating the happiest and healthiest society possible with a focus on minding your own damn business if it's not a threat to your microcosm or the citizens on a broad scale. Considering the difficulty the human race has with unity outside of our own little spheres of existence, that is probably a very idealistic view. We can only say that poly isn't conventional, but convention has always simply been the product of necessity or efficiency, sometimes combined with or instead things like superstition, fear, etc.
 
I think there are potentially risks to it, though. I haven't been able to look at any long-standing poly marriages, let alone with children or outside of the well-known societies, to get a sense of how they play out over the years and where the pitfalls are besides a lot of added emotional upkeep. There might be issues I'm not aware of.

I play the ocarina and I like to volunteer time trying to help people, though since I'm very shy and have anxiety problems I spend a lot of it in online communities trying to help people work out problems. I used to consider myself a writer, but I think with a little more programming experience I'd be happier making story-heavy puzzle and atmospheric games, which is what I'm trying to organize right now. I like being able to use graphics and sound especially.
 
I don't know what I want to do for a living. I seem ill-suited to what I like, and I don't like or wouldn't be good at anything that's really lucrative. I think I'd be best either as:
 
1) Technical repair with a little official and specialized training because I remember connections, dates, trivia, and the location of information caches very easily and am an intuitive problem-solver who genuinely likes digging at things. I just kind of trawl web pages and idly pick up on when the next Python update is and what some of the most important changes are, security issues with a program I'm experimenting on (or where to find the stored list if it's too long to remember), or things I need to stash away for reference and what they relate to. My friend's mother or people in coffeeshops occasionally commandeer me for minor problems and I'm very patient about it.
 
2) A translator because new languages come fairly naturally to me and I'm very good at overcoming communication barriers. In high school when a few of my friends had Asperger's I was fantastic at explaining things to them or about them to other people. One of their teachers sometimes asked me for help with this. I can get what person x is thinking, what person y is thinking, and either pinpoint where the failure is or change the words to match.

What is this crossdressing magic.

I discovered Snot Splatter, which I love now, but I was disappointed with this year, too. I was on Team Pirate which wasn't nearly as affected by the several holdups, but many of the games we had to play were games that, if I were a professional programmer, designer, etc, I'd be embarrassed to have millions of people playing. It wasn't about liking or disliking the game or the difficulty so much as it was about flaws in the game itself.

Pirates are supposed to play from the top 10 action games, though I've played them (horizontally) already to no effect. Going to try vertical down the list.

I could theoretically go make myself popcorn in the time between a game of Barf Boat ending and the time I can start a new game. Gonna play something more stimualting tonight and suck it up tomorrow.

Godspeed. Coding on Neopets is a nightmare.
