Oh yes, now that rings bells. I remember my grandma had those dolls. Along with a collection of gollywogs that my mother inherited... I used to play with hours with those. I will likely keep them when the time comes... but far down in the depths of a drawer as oh boy, the racism is definitely strong there!! You know, my main titbit of information about the Welsh comes from my grandfather and I am going to have to be VERY careful how I phrase this or the mods will have me. So, you know there is an ongoing joke about the Welsh and inappropriate relations with livestock? Well, there's actually a reason for that according to my very Welsh grandfather. Way back in the mists of time, the penalty for poaching a sheep in Wales was hanging. But - and here's the kicker - the penalty for ummm... more sordid activities was merely a night or two in the stocks. So when wiser poacher got caught trying to poach a sheep, he would pull his trousers down and confess to the other crime in order to escape the death penalty. And there you go; my fact of the day!!

You're more patient than me - I tried three of them including Fashion Fever - found issues with them all and moved onto the card games which I can reliably lose at instead!! Turmac Roll annoyed me because it doesn't collect all the berries even when you hit them. Fashion Fever wouldn't send scores - it works some of the time if you dress the pet up, but not every time. I can't remember if I played Ice Cream or Igloo now, but whichever it was I wasn't impressed. I then tried Pink Runner later for the Better Than You and yep, the scores don't tie over from the levels.

Ooof, two days of tanks and I don't like the look of today either. The single weaker positive is Cove and Goob's in with Dan, Buck and Fran who are all pretty solid pirates... and then the other arena's all have two 2:1's or a 2:1 and 3:1. I don't think I'm biting... Lagoon would be a decent booster if we'd got a relatively safe positive, but I just don't think it's worth it.

Tell that to the Americans - it's virtually ancient history to them!! I suspect dice games were around long before card games as the pieces are more durable and can be made from wood or bone.

I wouldn't feel bad about the cross paint - it's a gorgeous outfit, which is a good thing! Well, it gives you until next month to decide at least!! You can often find them in the TP for 1.65 mil though which is actually cheaper than discount day! I actually quite like the Royal colour with the Halloween straps in fairness... It looks like the skin has been peeled away! In fairness, the Ruki conversation was down to an Indian member of the Facebook group directly referring to them in terms of how the outfits made her feel represented as a youngster, so the link was there!

And my anti-achievement today is my Kiko getting zapped into a Green Koi. Another 100k on morphing potions down in my quest for a Garlic Kiko! I'm less keen on Pyramids, but got quite interested in Solitaire and Scarab 21... Scarab 21 annoys me less, but there's no trophy for 'winning' only for high scores and cumulative scores which is a shame as I'm not actually very good at it!! Yep, that one definitely counts as an anti-achievement! And there's a reminder to never play Windows solitaire! Yep, you are not alone. Oh, only ten minutes becomes five hours somehow...

Oooh, that does look pretty! It's an expensive cross paint though!! She looks like a traditional mum waiting for the kids to get home from school! I've got a spare Ruki that I'm considering paint options for - her twin is Woodland so I was thinking Halloween, Royal or Faerie. I could do all three I suppose - getting the Halloween avatar first and finish on Faerie with cross paint options: White fragility masked as being concerned for people of colour... stranger things have definitely happened! I mean, if they were offensive then yes. But to complain about representation like it's a bad thing seems insane to me.

And I've gone with the Ruki outfit for the second day. Not so keen on the hat and wig, but I never am really!

True that! In fairness... I'm not sure I'd know a Welsh costume... Irish and Scottish yes, but all the Welsh family I have just dressed like English folk! Don't worry - I didn't take it as a snub!

I am beginning to see why!! I want that Golden Trophy though! I currently only have bronze! Typically, just after I posted this I got a win... but that win was closely followed by yet another loss! I've moved across to Scarab 21 in disgust for the moment. I do wish the Flash games were converted properly!!

Another poster made exactly your point about the Royal Elephante actually: What I don't understand is why they would apparently prefer the site to be all Western based with no representation of other races and cultures. Representation is very different to appropriation and let's be honest, the same people would be screaming the house down about racism by exclusion if there was no representation. They can't win!

So some days, you just have one of those days. Today is one of those days. My anti-achievement today is that out of 60 games of Solitaire I have won precisely zero. I also played 50 games yesterday and won... precisely zero. And I've decided to try for the Edna avatar... and that isn't going well either!

I was quite torn with the first category released. I've gone with Maraquan Lutari as I fell in love the moment it released, but I also really like the Burlap Meerca!

@Yuiina At least the customisation issues were on the list of 'known' issues I suppose, so I'm hoping they are counting that as a bug fix rather than the next step in the process. Optimism. Never sure that's the right approach with TNT though! I like that they've put quickstock on the inventory, but instead of the transfer list it would have been far more useful to have a link to the SDB!!

Oh... my... at that outfit. It is... interesting for sure. I do think it's the mask that is quite so... odd!! For the colour... it's way too pink for me but it also seems to be missing the seamlines that make the pets look like toys. There are the joints at arms and legs but that's it... Keep it for next year and give it another shot!! I do that with rejected time dependent NT articles when I remember to write them. Which is rarely at the moment.

I got two of the balloons and one of everything else. Two balloons as that was the only item I knew I was going to want to use rather than trade. I mean look at it!

I just noticed this change! Yes, that makes a huge difference! I'm glad to see that they are listening to feedback!! And yep, identical to is my default search, so I like that it's automatic on both the SSW and the SW now!

I like the patterns on the Marachite and whilst I agree that the wings look 'off' on a white background, I really like how the darker background makes them fir so much better. Less said about that outfit the better though.

I ought to go back to that then... but I got rather bored playing the same level time and time again!

I use a different browser entirely. So I use Chrome for my main and Edge for any of my side accounts. It means I can have both up at the same time and the dailies link is only ever on the chrome browser. Works quite well for me! I like the editorial, don't get me wrong. But I'm not trawling through hundreds of old ones to find a section I need! And yep, they definitely should be on-site! Good cop! I'd forgotten that rule! Partly because anything on my sides has only ever been earned on my main!

I keep sides so that I can have more pets - I have my original pets on my main and my first side, then a baby side, a to-be mutant side and an extra side. I also have a gallery on my oldest side, so there are reasons to have sides even if you can't make neopoints on them.

I looked up all the rules when I started actively using my sides for pets and creating more sides so I couldn't accidentally run afoul of them! It's like you are not permitted to buy items from the Money Tree, Igloo Garage Sale or Healing Springs on sides as it's considered bypassing the maximum number of items/time limits for items. You can use the Healing Springs to heal your pets though. Yeah, I certainly used the FAQs to gem up on the rules. Going through hundreds of editorials did not sound like my idea of fun!!
