I tried a couple of things out. I think speckled is a good color so I stuck with that, although Christmas also works well in my opinion.
So here's with just the Misty Shenkuu background:

I feel like something cool could be made with the Simple Wooden Stage background, but I couldn't really make anything that caught my eye.

Wow, that really does look like it's illuminating the cave. I like that a lot.

He's happy again! A few spins on the merry-go-round and some toys did the trick. I really hope I don't get that event again. It's probably just a coincidence, but I'd never had that event before I painted my Draik grey. I hope this isn't a pattern now that he's the "unhappy" color^^'

Your pet will also like a Tiki Tour... I think that also costs 50 np. I've had a similar RE in the past and to make my pet happy did a whirl on the merry-go-round, a tiki tour, and played with a toy about twenty times. My memory is kinda junk but I'm certain it was all accomplished in one sitting. 

Also you could try Kacheek Seek! By the time I get to the bottom row of places for my pet to hide, they usually tell me that they're bored with Kacheek Seek and their disposition usually has improved almost back to joyful or delighted. <- My Pets on the Roo Island Merry-Go_Round,  and then

We have a new Bony Grarrl Club for lending!
Due to the extreme deflation of the item, I was able to pool the ALP funds with some of my own and replace our club. We've now been able to finish replacing everything that was stolen last summer, so all items we have listed will be available for lending again. I'm still working on trying to get TNT to look at my ticket, but for now, lending can fully resume as per usual.
Because of the problem we ran into last time, I'm going to take a few extra precautions when lending the item this time (full details will be explained in the email we send when we're ready to set up the lend), but the basic requirements can still be found here. Because of the drastic deflation (the club is now worth about 20% of what we paid last time), requirements to borrow have also been loosened a bit, so if you didn't qualify before, check out what's changed and apply again!

I used to play neopets many years ago but i couldnt remember my account information (it was more than 10 years ago) so i made a new one because i was feeling nostalgic. A lot of things have changed and i am having a great time!

Hi, my name is Kara, and I am new here. I have been playing Neopets off and on since 2001. I played a lot in my younger days but once I got into college I became an Advent Only player, but now I am back and more active than I have been in years. Since I have been back I have found a love of participating in the Beauty Contest, betting on Food Club, training my Lupe, attempting to RS, and gaining avatars - thought I found that I am still terrible at games!
Hoping to find some great people to chat with, this seems like an awesome community.

Guilds have been dead long before Neopets took a dive and I think the culprit is social media. You can meet on places like TDN, tumblr or reddit and speak more freely with a larger group of players. Additionally guilds are quite restricting in what they can do whereas if you post on social media, you can conduct giveaways or activities for your peers without risk of anyone getting in trouble via the guild.

Is it weird that I treat TDN as sort of a Guild, but now that I joined TKP, I feel like I'm split between the 2 places. I "ran" a Pal-entine Event at TKP for everyone to get a small gift of friendship for being a Pal but did a BD Blitz Event for Obelisk Thread TDN members before that. Anyway, I see both places as having great friends and I enjoy thinking of different things to do. Definitely indicates an obsession of some sorts, I guess.

My guild is pretty new and very active.

I only go to Neopets from my phone (Android), but that is just because I don't have a laptop. I prefer to go to Neopets on a laptop because there is stuff I can't do on a phone, such as play flash games and customize my pets, however there is still a lot I can do on my phone, for example most dailies, fighting in the battledome and putting items in my shop/gallery. I'm glad to have the option for now, but pretty soon I'm gonna get a laptop with my tax money and I am looking forward to that!

On the top of any Neopets.com page, where it says Community go to Neoboards. Then go to Preferences. Your Avatar list shows up next.
On top are the various Pet avatars that anyone can choose. Scroll down. Avatars that you earn are shown below the dotted line.
