So, I've been thinking about buying Premium for a while. I like the idea of an extra pet spot, it will be used for a draik. And lockdown means I have some spare cash floating around. I've also had a Jetsam on my hands that I quite liked the name of, but Jetsam's aren't really my thing. I then learned that you get a species change with Premium. More importantly, most importantly, if your pet is in a colour that your new species doesn't have, you get to change it to any colour you want!!! So. For 180,000np I bought a water Kau morphing potion. My Jetsam very briefly turned into a water cow. He was rather affronted at this. But then, then, I bought Premium for a month. I will likely upgrade it to a four month plan later, but for the moment a month was all I needed. And I clicked 'species change'. And I clicked 'Poogle'. And I got told that water doesn't exist for Poogle so would I like to change my colour to one that can be used for this species. And I said yes please, thank you, I would like that very much. I think... I think... I'll have THIS ONE! Once I have the Slorg avatar I will then put him with a plushie petpet and he will have gone from my most bemoaned pet to my favourite pet in the whole darn universe! He is a tiny bit confused from all the shape shifting, but he'll get over it! Edit: Now customised to my happiness. I want the Dapper Poogle Hat, but I think I'll wait for the inflation to go down on that particular item first!

The ray is fired at Chekem_MC_Junior... ... and she changes into a Green Koi!! I see that Ray has decided to go with an UNDER THE SEA theme... Maybe a Morphing Potion CAN be a girl's Best Friend? Sorely tempted. But I have 3 Extra Zaps this week, so I'll try to see if Ray will provide something Incredible...eh? At least the Flotsam stayed Fish-like. And now the Golden Jungle Experiment continues I know the Body Glow doesn't show it, but he is no longer a Fish-he is a Yellow Acara!LOL 06/24/2020 Well, the Jungle Experiment ends bc the Yellow Acara bc a Woodland Acara I think she could be a dream Pet for someone, so I am putting her in with Timmy the Island Turtmid I hope she finds her Dream Owner!!!

Hi guys, I'm going to postpone the entering period for this round by one week. I'm in the process of buying a house (yay) and it. is. exhausting. I hope I'll be able to catch up on some sleep this week, so I'll be able to give this round the attention it deserves. My apologies!

After my grandma died (she had severe dementia) things in my old house got really odd. Like on the anniversary of her death our security system went off out of the blue. We looked outside and no one was out there. After my grandpa died from a brain injury (he was robbed in his own home) I saw a tall white figure with bent knees. Keep in mind, I have insomnia. I asked my mom if the people who robbed him hurt his legs and she said yes. I’ve always been skeptical but that did it for me. We ended up moving out.

Still no explosion but it happened again! But I'm starting to look at my stamp collection again , so I've just kissed 170,000np goodbye. Thankfully I won a nerkmid from Jetsam Ace so I'm not too haunted by my decision!

I'd be VERY surprised if they put a royal PB on the prize list I usually just go for the books multiple times, one for my pet, multiples for some NP since books are rather easy to sell. This year I'll probably go for the stamp too, but I'm thinking of maybe holding on to those prize shop points to claim my prizes later, when I can already have some idea on what's really worth it (in terms of selling it later)

Ideally, i would love for them to go for broke and put up like a Steampunk paint brush cuz i want that for my Lenny (i'd like my Quiggle to be burlap, but that's a lab ray only thing, i believe). If its not, and i can afford it, i'll still get the paint brush just to say i did it. Since Meridell is on track to win, maybe they'll do the Royal brush? Sometimes there's a theme, but that Tyrannian paint brush has popped up a couple times even in non-Tyrannia-winning years. I think the water paint brush was up once and that would be cool to see again. From there i just go down the list, picking out what looks cool to me, and then spending the rest on the team-specific gear toward the bottom; one of each, then the rest on the Terror Mountain item.

My plan is to wait a few days, then buy the item going for the most neopoints that i can afford. I'll then sell it, and use the rest of my points to get every edible prize for my gallery. If there happens to be something expensive that I want to keep, that may change my plans.

Not me - my foster parents! I'd love to foster, but we don't yet own our own house or have our own children and I'd like to know that I'm bringing a child - particularly such a vulnerable one - into a safe, stable and committed home. At the moment we don't even have a dog for exactly that reason! We both work full time, I commute four hours a day when not working from home for the COVID-19 pandemic - and that wouldn't be a fair environment to bring a new life into. But yes, my foster parents are definitely unsung heroes. They went from me - a difficult if intellectual teenager - to an exceptionally disturbed young child and then two toddlers (at the time obviously), one of them with significant additional needs. Throughout it all, they have shown the patience of saints and have worked through every challenge, if not without complaint then certainly without any flagging in commitment and effort.

I've always considered that if you take on the responsibility for adopting a child - special needs or no - then they are your child, pure and simple. You don't get to hand them back if life gets difficult. I've been lucky enough to grow up in a loving biological parental home where when things went sour due to addiction issues, my foster parents who took me in as a teenager - and a hellish one at that - have stuck by me through thick and thin. I have just however read about an 'influencer' couple who raised funds from their blogs to adopt a child from abroad and have given up on him and fobbed him off on another family. This makes me both sad and angry. Who brings a child in from China with special needs and then rehomes it like a puppy when the going gets too tough??
