Neopet's Birthday

Yesterday was one of my neopet's birthday. I know that there was something special that was supposed to happen, or a place for a treat...but I can't remember what or where... I have another Neopet borthday coming up soon and don't want to miss out on an extra benefit. Can anyone help me?

On your pets' birthday, you need to visit their pet lookup to claim it (basically just go to your profile and click on the pet). You get to choose 1 of 3 cupcakes, which increases strength (yellow), hitpoints (pink), or defence (blue), so choose wisely!

 

As a side note, you don't necessarily have to feed it to the pet you received it from in case you are focusing on training another pet.

Thanks for this post. It got me curious & apparently one of my pets has a birthday coming up. Hopefully I'll remember to claim my cupcake now that I know what to do!

This thread made me look too, and apparently I just missed all my pets' birthdays in March and April -.-

 

Oh well, guess I'll put it on my calendar for next year.

I checked too because of this thread, so far, I've forgotten every year lol. Most of them are in July, so I'll probably forget this year as well since I won't think about it 'till then. I should put it in my Bday Calendar, so I get a notice :P

 

Edit: I've turned on Bday Notice in my email Preferences on Neopets, lets see if I get an email at their bday to remind me of the cupcake.

Is the cupcake for your pets birthday something fairly new?  I discovered it this year on cybunny day, when a good friend gifted me the grey cybunny morphing potion and I wanted to see her look-up.  I got to choose a cupcake and there were balloons all over her page.  I loved it.
