OH MY GOD!!!!!

Well this is annoying. I mispelled my password a few times today and now I can't acess my account for like 50 minutes! Has anyone ever done this before?

Yes, on multiple occasions. I either type in 1 wrong letter several times, or use a password that I have for something else. And I always blame the site saying 'you know what I meant!'

It happens. Hasn't to me on neopets as I keep it saved on my browser.. But for other sites and games yes it has.. I hate the restriction on some of them.. A lot worse than 50 minutes..

I've never actually done this, I didn't know it locks you out for a certain amount of time. :mellow:

Um... it's not annoying really - it's to protect you from someone trying to hack into your account by trying lots of random passwords... if it didn't block you after a few wrong guesses, a hacker could sit there for ever trying different possibilities.

It's not the security feature that's annoying. It's knowing you've input your own password wrong enough times to get locked out!

When I type it wrong more than twice, I just copy/paste my password from KeePass (it's a lifesaver).

Well at least it's not like my school e-mail. I once put my password in wrong 3 times and the locked my account for 24 hours. I had to call and get it unlocked.

 

So, just always remember, it could be worse. XD

Once upon a time I used to save my passwords in a program, but then I forgot the password for the program >.< And sometimes I'm just too filled with irrational hate for the password box to think of copy/paste

What annoys me is using a different computer to log in. I don't know my password! That's what cookies are for.
