jumpingbeans Posted July 25, 2012 Posted July 25, 2012 I live in Canada, the land of the Beaver, where Polar Bear roam free, we live in Igloos, and play hockey all day. ...Or just Halifax, Nova Scotia. Quote
Ashbash Posted July 25, 2012 Posted July 25, 2012 Lol cool. I've sort of been to Canada. I was only at Niagra Falls though for a short time. I just got back from Old Country Buffet and I'm pretty sure I'm never going to eat again. I'm so full but the shrimp they had for dinner was amazing. Quote
khaos Posted July 25, 2012 Posted July 25, 2012 Has anyone realized that this topic alone contains more than half the posts made in the entire General Chat topic? Quote
Ashbash Posted July 25, 2012 Posted July 25, 2012 I had not noticed until you pointed it out but I mean this is a pretty great thread. I bet half the posts in this thread are about food lol. Quote
jumpingbeans Posted July 26, 2012 Posted July 26, 2012 Food, the weather, and Neopets oddities, probably. Has anyone here heard of the "Uberman Sleep Cycle"? Quote
khaos Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 No. :P This place is becoming so inactive... POSTING TIME Quote
jumpingbeans Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 I know, it's so sad. I think I'm going to go cry now... Quote
Ashbash Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 Don't cry! I actually think this place is still pretty active compare to others. It might not be quite what it's used to but it's still pretty good. Anyone have anything interesting planned for the weekend? Quote
jumpingbeans Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 Um...I next to never have any interesting plans for the weekend...same as always...stay inside and stay online. Quote
Ashbash Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 Hey, that can be fun too! This is my last weekend at home before I return to school so I'm just going to be hanging out with the family. Quote
Tedhaun Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 For me, not much. I went to recycle some of those cans that were piling up at home and took them in to my local Stop & Shop to turn them in for profit. Plus my mom's going to a business trip to Washington DC, I hope she says hi to Obama (and @Alberto of Meridell) for me! Quote
jumpingbeans Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 Alberto...been a while since I've heard his name...Can your mom say hi to Obama for me too? Quote
Haliaetus Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 Reading through the latest posts, you've all made me really hungry and now I really want to get to a buffet. :glasses: Quote
jumpingbeans Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 I think someone made a 'rule' about that once on TDN..."all roads lead to food" Quote
Ashbash Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 Haha if there isn't a rule, there should be. I plan on cooking tonight, well sort of. Not from scratch or anything but I bought one of those Velveeta Skillets to try. I'm pretty excited about it, hopefully it's as good as their macaroni. Quote
Haliaetus Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 I think I've tried those once, and if I remember correctly it was pretty good. :P Quote
jumpingbeans Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 I don't like macaroni (except KD) much - I prefer Shell Noodles. <3 Quote
passiflora Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 I don't like macaroni (except KD) much - I prefer Shell Noodles. <3 KD has shell noodles, right? The "three cheese" version? :) I loooooove KD Spirals. And also homemade macaroni. Almost any pasta, really. :D Quote
khaos Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 doodoodoodooo~ I really have nothing to contribute so.. *pokes at small text in signature* Quote
Ashbash Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 I think I've tried those once, and if I remember correctly it was pretty good. :P Glad to hear it, I'm making the Nachos Supreme one. KD has shell noodles, right? The "three cheese" version? :) I loooooove KD Spirals. And also homemade macaroni. Almost any pasta, really. :D If KD stands for Kraft they do have shells in the 3 cheese version. I enjoy the spirals as well. And Velveeta's mac n cheese is actually shells as well. Quote
Haliaetus Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 I like shells, too. Now I really want some mac & cheese. It's rainy and cold here today, so I need something to warm me up. Quote
Ashbash Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 Aww that stinks. It's actually been really nice here today, so far anyways. Quote
jumpingbeans Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 It's been sunny all day. But I prefer cloudy days... good thing I spend all day inside! Quote
Haliaetus Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 Hahaha. I like a little cloudy days. I'm spending most of my day inside watching TV now that I'm done running errands. :P Quote
complicatedwishes Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 I'm currently sat with my 5 year old cousin. She's sat on her laptop playing games on nick jr. and I'm sat on neopets :P ... what geeks ;) :nerd: Quote
