Spritzie Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 Ryan, no discussion of bugs please. We just got off that subject. Quote
-Ryan Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 ... Sorry. I felt it was necessary. Far too much tension. :P Okay, bye CAV, sorry about whatever the whole story is, I hope it works out. :( And would you mind trying not to scare your best friend every time you talk about suicide? :P -wants to hear the full story tomorrow- Quote
Spritzie Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 CAV, when you're ready to talk, we're here. Our PMs are open. Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 And would you mind trying not to scare your best friend every time you talk about suicide? :P I myself was scared when I thought that, and when I blindly wrapped my headphones around my neck and started to strangle myself. Quote
-Ryan Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 ... Well for once I am speechless. I didn't know that was possible for me. :P Btw, CAV, if you kill yorself i'm gonna come to New York and kill you. ... Oh wait... :P In all seriousness though, I hope you have a better day tomorrow. -points at what Spritzie said- That. Quote
Masaryk Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 What Spritzie said. Parents sometimes have strange, irrational arguments with their teenage kids. Especially very stressed parents, like single (widowed) parents. It's normal. It's not your fault. Quote
antiaircraft Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 We've got your back CAV. :) Especially Ryan and his tension-defusing skills. xD Quote
-Ryan Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 I'm glad someone knows it's not that I can't take anything seriously... xD Quote
Spritzie Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 I'm sure he didn't mean what he said. Parents get upset and frustrated just like we do, and they say things they don't mean too. My mom and I used to have plenty of apology sessions afterwards. But my mom and I are still close, regardless of those rough years. Quote
Tyler. Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 CAV, you have to remember that there are people who care about you. Your father is probably going through a rough time too. And, in my humble opinion, suicide is selfish, so please, don't forget to remember the people who care. Quote
-Ryan Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 What they said. -nodnod- -bad with words- Um... We love you CAV. -glad I found something to add- Even if it sounds really corny. :P Quote
Masaryk Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 After my dad died, my mum would randomly freak out on me sometimes, yelling wretched, mean things, and throwing things. I never really did anything to provoke this; I got good grades, I took care of my sister, and cooked and cleaned. It was just her way of blowing off steam. It was a very inappropriate way of doing so, but that's just her personality. Quote
Seliphra Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 *Hugs CAV* I know it seems unlikely now...but things REALLY do get better, I'm living proof of that. Just remember, it's NOT your fault that your Dad is upset, and he probably didn't mean what he said. Anyways, if you do want to die I'll come to New York and get you...but I'll be bicycling...in the cold...and when I show up I'll be dirty smelly and hungry so I'll need a bath....but THEN I'll take you back up to Canada! Quote
Sofa Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 I know it probably doesn't mean much coming from me since I don't really know you, but I hope that you're feeling a bit better about things today. There are obviously a lot of people here who care about you & want to help, and that must count for something. Quote
-Ryan Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 And i'll be coming too to move to Canadawith you. OH let me just go get some regular bacon first. I heard you can barter with it... Quote
Spritzie Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 You're on early Ryan. Or are you? Is this earlier than normal for you? Quote
-Ryan Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 Nah, I usually get on around now before school. I leave at 7ish. Quote
Spritzie Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 I'm never on here before 7 my time, since I don't start work until 7. But I got dropped off here at 5 this morning. o_O Quote
-Ryan Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 Lol, why in the world did you end up at work that early? -would've called in sick- xD Quote
Spritzie Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 I'm not working, yet. I don't get on shift until 7. But my dad dropped me off before he headed out of town. So I got dropped off at 5. Quote
-Ryan Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 Ohhh, lol, that still sucks. xD -climbs in your dad's car- TO DENVER! MUSH! Btw, you hit 10k, lol. xD Quote
Spritzie Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 That's where he's going. :laughingsmiley: He's probably nearly there by now. He'll be where he's going in 30 minutes or so. EDIT: Yep. I hit it last night, shortly before I signed off. Quote
-Ryan Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 Lol, is it bad that i'm obsessed enough to seriously consider moving to Denver in a few years? I definatley wanna move somewhere where there's atleast one person from TDN. xD Lol, i'm still about 2 yeras off... xD Quote
Spritzie Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 Denver is cool. I lived there for about 9 months. I didn't really want to move back, but I didn't have a choice. Quote
-Ryan Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 ... Out of curiousity did you ever see a concert fwith The Fray in it? xD Quote
