Spritzie Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 Grrr. This never popped up on my list as having new posts. Backups exploding on you Spritzie? I know the feeling. Somewhat. xD Ah well, we all do what we can... No. Not yet. Well, now, yes. But not this morning. Just long week. Especially long day. But now stuff is going crazy. I gotta decide on a school to transfer to. And I don't know any of the schools. All of them have stupid kids, and some even have metal detectors for obvious reasons. Also I'm gonna miss being able to stay home. I've been able to recollect myself over the past 6 weeks, and it's all gonna vanish within a day. One thing's for sure: I want my antidepressants before I begin school. Stupid kids are inevitable, unfortunately. They were all over at my school too, but I just stayed with my friends. I had 2 other friends at my HS. We ate lunch together, but I was on my own the rest of the time. I just kept to myself and it was fine. (Not that it made me like HS anymore.) CAV, remember this, each school will have "stupid kids" people you'd rather never meet no matter what. But each school will have people you can get along with no matter what Very nicely said Tyler. Even with all the weird people in HS, I managed to find at least one friend in each class so I didn't feel awkward. Give it a shot. Just try to get to know one person in each class. (And take time to observe, so you know who to stay away from.) Quote
-Ryan Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 Yes CAV, there are people like me in every school. :P Quote
Tyler. Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 I wonder what it would be like to know a ton of people like Ryan Quote
Spritzie Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 Scary... most likely. And probably fairly dangerous. (You know you can crack ribs from laughing, right?) Quote
Tyler. Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 that's news to me the dangers of knowing too many Ryans I might have to write something like that when I'm bored Quote
-Ryan Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 Very loud. People can hear me all the way across the cafeteria/library. And I can never be serious during class. Like today, In Honors Science: Me: "Ohhhhh so with the graph thing, we just graph the averages? Girl person thing: Yeah. Me: Okay okay, so, ummmm, lets see, that one was 8.9 sooo in that general area I guess... Ummm. OH! And that one goes th- Why am I standing up? -sits down- I went on like that for 10 minutes. Oh and I say hi to everyone. Plus I forget things easily. When school ended today: Me: -walking then suddenly sees person from science- OMG HI GIRL FROM THAT CLASS WITH THOSE PEOPLE! 8D Her: Hello Ryan...? xD You don't remember my name, do you? Me: Nope, I have a bad memory, bye! 8D ... That is what it would be like every day. Enjoy whatever your imaginations can come up with. You could so make a horror film about that. :P Quote
Tyler. Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 I sit between 2 friends, so it's hard for me to focus Quote
-Ryan Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 I usually make friends or enemies with everyone I sit near. Example: I got moved in my computer class last semester once because me and the girl next to me ALWAYS talked and never got anything done. Then I started argueing with one dude near me and made friends with an emo kid who almost never talks in my new seat who hugged me the other day which is a different story... xD Then I got moved back because the other girl got moved after me and I started talking with the OTHER person next to me who I don't think ever knew my name. She just called me "that funny dude that sits next to me' ... Good to know my name is important. :P Do you have any, like, really mean teachers? Quote
Tyler. Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 i go to a small school so most teachers teach two subjects the only mean one is my music teacher Quote
Spritzie Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 I always loved having classes with friends. I always had at least one friend in middle school. Band was the best though. I had 4-5 of my friends in band with me. My old band director still talked about me and my friends after he went to a different school. Quote
-Ryan Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 The only class I have a friend in which I knew before he year started is Gym, and my friend Seth only got transferred into my class this semester. Quote
Spritzie Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 When I went to HS, I had one person I knew in one class. In my math class, there was a guy I'd done to middle school with that had hung out with my group of friends a bit. I had to meet people in the rest of my classes. Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 CAV, remember this, each school will have "stupid kids" people you'd rather never meet no matter what. But each school will have people you can get along with no matter what Yes, but some schools have more stupid kids than others. And some schools have VIOLENT stupid kids. Most of the schools at hand have metal detectors, which means a violent history. Another problem is CAV loves New York and Arizona is boring (no offense) I ain't leaving NY until I have to so I can be an astronomer. Quote
Spritzie Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 Most of the schools at hand have metal detectors, which means a violent history. That's not necessarily true. Or maybe it is in NY. Quite a few schools here have them, that don't have any issues. They put them in after the Columbine shooting. Specially in schools that got bomb threats and such afterwards. Quote
antiaircraft Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 I'm a loner of sorts when it comes to school and such, so I don't really remember many people. xD No. Not yet. Well, now, yes. But not this morning. Just long week. Especially long day. But now stuff is going crazy. The wonders of technology hmmm? :rolleyes_anim: Quote
Spritzie Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 I remember the people I was friends with in middle school. That's about it. (Though I have lurked on Facebook to see what some of the others were up to.) Yes... gotta love technology. Quote
-Ryan Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 Arizona isn't boring! And it's probably the best state in the US to go to if you wanna learn Spanish... Of course there's the whole 'illegal immigrant' problem but that's only a problem if you go to Pheonix and get shot for being a witness of drug smuggling. -shrug- Btw, I managed to fail a try to kick a football earlier. I ended up missing, sending my shoe into the neighbors yard, standing with my other foot on the football with no idea how I got there, and then being on the ground a few seconds later... :eh: Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 That's not necessarily true. Or maybe it is in NY. Quite a few schools here have them, that don't have any issues. They put them in after the Columbine shooting. Specially in schools that got bomb threats and such afterwards. Most NY schools don't have detectors. Only schools with violent histories have that. And even if you can't bring in metal, there are still fights. And it's probably the best state in the US to go to if you wanna learn Spanish... Guess who doesn't want to learn Spanish. I tried to do so, and I had my Spanish side try to do so. But I can't learn a second language at all. I only know some Spanish and some Dutch words. Quote
Spritzie Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 They put more security things in schools near Columbine. Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 Who wouldn't put detectors after a shooting? En we hebben plaatsen die zijn gewelddadiger dan andere, zoals Bed-Stuy. Quote
Spritzie Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 It was over 60 miles away. But bomb threats and such went to a lot of local schools. They added security at my HS. Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 Right now, the big deal isn't bombings or anything. Het is de bedwantsen. Quote
Wembly Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 Is that what that is? I didn't have a clue. I was guessing German. I only know a tiny bit of Spanish from high school. Quote
-Ryan Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 I have no idea. Probably dutch or spanish or... Cubanish. -shrug- Quote
