The amulet would always go on and off at different times. Thoughts began running through Oran's mind. All of these Monoceraptors... why? What were they after? Are they attacking on instinct or did they have a plan on their minds? Oran shook his head. For some reason, Levy is avoiding something. Or someone.... They had hardly defeated the one Monoceraptor, and whatever the other three were, she doubted they wanted to run into them. Just then a Monoceraptor came out of the woods and saw Takinito immediately. It tripped trying to pull a sharp turn then got up and ran after Takinito. Levy reached into his pocket and looked at the items he took from Spanner's damaged craft. Several small pieces and a data spike. Specially rigged, these pieces could be turned into a strong lightning knife, all it needed was a power source. Then a Monoceraptor burst through the woods and knocked over the tree Levy was hiding under, revealing the hiding Xweetok. Guest Tyler Posted January 25, 2007 Share Posted January 25, 2007 The amulet dropped right in front of Levy, he picked it up quickly and kept running from the mass of angry teeth and fury trying to catch him and tear him to shreds. The monoceraptor chasing after Takinito came into a clearing, seeing Takinito behind a powerful weapon. A modified cannon. It looked like a repeater. "Goodbye buddy." said Takinito's left head while activating the gun. It shot out repeating beams of energy, tearing little holes right through the Monoceraptor. It stumbled then fell over backwards. Takinito turned off the gun and looked at the Monoceraptor. "It looks like it fell on a field of daggers." said his right head. "Darn it, the ammo for that cannon costs 100np per shot! Guest Tyler Posted January 26, 2007 Share Posted January 26, 2007 Takinito looked at the ammo clip, his right head then said "This isn't right, the ammo I need is not sold on the market or used by the station at all. I never gave anyone the plans for this cannon." The Monoceraptor chasing Levy saw Takinito and began to run towards him. Soon after the second Monoceraptor saw Takinito and ran towards him as well. "Well, this ain't good." said Takinito's right head quietly. Suddenly three more Monoceraptors appeared, all heading against Takinito. Levy saw the five Monoceraptors all converging on one mutant hissi. He looked at the pieces from the craft, then Oran's amulet vibrated then shook. A power source, this should work great. he thought piecing the parts together around the amulet. But there was on thing he still couldn't understand. Midtime Posted January 27, 2007 Share Posted January 27, 2007 Firos watched the death of the Monoceraptor again, this time felled by a field of daggers and a repeating cannon. He knew there were others. These strangers had helped him. He could not believe it, even though they had done it by accident. Perhaps Levy had merely not recognised him. Perhaps he would take Firos in if he just knew who he was. Firos decided to have one more try. He climbed out of the tree and stepped cautiously into the clearing. He then tossed it in his backpack and pulled out several mounted high power laser cannons and some magically charmed barricades. Guest Tyler Posted January 29, 2007 Share Posted January 29, 2007 Takinito's right head shouted back to Spanner, "This ammo won't work in my repeater, the cannon does not take any of the original ammunition I developed for the stations!" Takinito pulled out a large belt from his transported and hooked it onto the cannon. He pulled back a large hooked lever and the cannon slowly reformed into a triple barrel heavy cannon. The cannon had power level indicators which were rising with a loud hum. The power of the amulet was focused by the salvaged pieces and it blasted a strong beam right through a Monoceraptor, killing it almost instantly. "Whoah, this is more like it." Levy thought as he was bout to aim at another one. Three more cam to the scene. "JUST HOW MANY OF THESE THINGS ARE THERE?" shouted Levy to anyone who would listen. The power levels on Takinito's cannon read fully charged and he unleashed blasts of energy in all directions, he killed five. Evacuate the area immediately, repeat, evacuate the area immediately. Our bombers will napalm the area in approximately four minutes." Spanner beckoned to the others and grabbed the rope. He left the hatch open and his left head shouted, "EVERYONE, GET IN! We are going to Station 8." The cannon folded up into a package smaller than a briefcase and hovered into the craft. Large engines behind the craft began to glow blue and the legs were vibrating. "EVERYONE GET ON BOARD NOW! WE HAVE TO MOOOVEE!" shouted Takinito's right head from the pilot's seat. Several monitors were blinking on a far wall, and lots and lots of controls were evreywhere. "Where's Station 8- Virtupets, or Keludor? Spanner and Firos were the last two inside. "Everybody hold on, this is going to get crazy." said Takinito's right head. Blue fire blasted out of the tips of the five legs and the craft slowly began to ascend. the legs pulled themselves together and the craft rose even quicker. Suddenly, the fire in the legs ceased and they were in free fall. The legs quickly jerk upward away from the craft. From the air it appeared as though a spider with 5 legs was jumping in, stomach first, into the clouds. Blades shot out each side of the legs and attached themselves to each other and the boosters behind the craft ignited. It looked like a saucer propelled by fire of the purest blue. Within seconds, they were in space. Levy looked out the window and saw the Virtupets fighters bombing the woods, the Monoceraptors didn't stand a chance.
