Games Master Challenge: Day 2

The moon rock rampage took me some time. With the TDN guide and a bit of practice, I finally beat it *beams*

Just finished with Tyrannian Mini Golf. Followed a guide. Guides make a lot of the challenges much simpler.

Left with Pterattack and the meepit now. Even the extra meepit life didn't help D:

Anyone else having Gwyl's Great Escape glitch and not finish level 6 if you go over the statue? >.>

Yup, but to compensate, try doing the 'bonus' level first, if you haven't.

Go to continue game and type in 'gwylsgreatestescapeever' (gwyls greatest escape ever)

After you do the bonus level, it takes you back to level one.

I reached the 25/40 but games are getting harder and harder... I've been pelaying for 3 hours the kou-jong, I see pieces everywhere now!

Can I just assume Kou-Jong is mostly a game of luck and you are extremely lucky if you can finish even one game before the moves run out? If not, what am I doing wrong?

Kou Jong is pretty easy to get.. Just learn how the game works and play at medium level!

Quick question, I've read that the GMC finishes on the 1st December, but does that mean that there will be 5 more challenges on the 1st, or that the last challenges are on the 30th? Just wondering how much time I've got really o_O

I have given up on Meepit Juice Break (meaning I'll try again tomorrow). I'd never even played it until yesterday but it's easy to figure out.. however, 2700 is impossibly far away. I had hoped it would turn out to be an awful typo but no such luck. Le sigh.

 

Also, why does it say the reward for Kou-Jong is a Blue Daisy Bracelet? "It has been reported that 'Captain Scarblade Action Figure' is mistakenly displayed as the prize for this challenge. This is probably a glitch." (from the GMC page here on TDN) I definitely got the action figure, not a bracelet.. doesn't make a difference to me, just thought that odd :P

I found both King Altador and Capn' Scarblade cheap on the wiz. Added them to my gallery. Whoo. But I'm still going to try to finish the Crisis Courier.

I was wondering that too, when does it actually finish? Is it like tomorrow night? This is my first GMC :P And I've been on holiday all week - I've gotten 24(/30) done in just under two days lol!

Grrr my challenges are really messed up on the page - I know one of the pictures is displaying the wrong item for everyone, but on my screen some of my items are not displaying at all despite me being 30/30 so far. Annoying! I hope they sort it out soon.

I'm going to beat the meepit game on Zen. It's happening...I'm at 973 points right now and about ready to pull my hair out!!! I have a neofriend that is doing the same thing though so we are silently crying together. Anyone else attempting this on Zen? There's just no way I'll be able to get it otherwise, I've been trying periodically. You would think after attaching the dern pipes 973 times that would be good enough practice to master the game!!!! :grrr:

I'm just going to give it up. There's no way I'm going to last long enough for 2700 points in zen. T__T

 

On another note, finally got 800 for Gwyl's great escape with a very good guide (http://www.neopets.com/~tickular). I suck at that game and always die.

Well, surprisingly I got lucky and won Time Tunnel yet cannot for the life of me pass Crisis Courier, Gwyl's Great Escape, Meepit Juice Break, and Moon Rock Rampage. (Most I get to is about half to the challenge's score then lose) I guess I'll have to be happy with a 2nd or 3rd place trophy.
