I can't live without the SSW. I save anything that isn't generally cheap or I don't care about (food, etc.) until I can get access again.
 
That being said, I realized recently that I've unconsciously developed a pricing pattern.
10,001+: Drop to the next five hundred. | Example: object priced 54,239; I'd list for 53,500 1,000-9,999: Drop to the next hundred | Object priced 2,354; I'd list for 2,200 100-999: Drop by twenty-five | Object priced at 535; I'd list for 500 10-99: Drop by five | Object priced at 75; I'd list for 70 The only time I go below ten is when it's food, as food almost always sells. If it's around 25 and not food, I'll probably chuck it, as it's very unlikely to sell.

Unfortunately I've been hit with a one-two punch of bad internet connection and going on vacation for the next week, so I may not be able to send many scores. I hope I can rank up today to 15 but if my connection stays this bad I may not make it.

I think the aerialist isn't in until some of the final chorus scenes, but it's pretty cool, anyway. :D

I stopped watching the Not Literally stuff several months ago when Ginny left. I watched her "I'm resigning" video and it was so over-rehearsed that I could tell she had a fight with Dana. :P
 
It sucks, but life goes on.

One of the girls in those videos is Ginny DiGuiseppi (the "I thought I wasn't good enough" girl) - she was one of my REALLY good online friends when I was younger! She dedicated her first novel to me :) I'm proud to say I can do 2 or 3 of the 5 different tricks the aerialist does in the vid!

I can never get the idea factory to stop spinning. In fact, I'm starting to wonder how long it's been since I laid down (for a nap or regular sleep) and didn't brainstorm for my current piece! Sometimes, I do it far too frequently and have to tell myself to quit. :P
 
I've noticed a lot of famous (or rising star) writers say, "Read, read, read!" That's never been an issue for me...I was a bookworm long before I started writing! I'd say my writing efforts started in earnest about 1996-97 and I was reading Babysitter's Club books by the end of Kindergarten/beginning of first grade. It's weird to think that I've been writing as long as some of y'all have been alive! :laughingsmiley:

Wow, that's amazing! :D Those people who do aerial stunts on silk are so cool and it just boggles the mind how much upper body strength and flexibility they have.

Ouch! It hurts me just by looking at it :P Congrats! I wish I had those skills... I'm as flexible as ivory, pretty much like an 80 year-old :P

It's so nice to get your writing groove back after years of being dormant, isn't it? :) It's like throwing yourself into a whole new world again.

I've written a few things in my day, and have ideas for a book of my own, I just never get around to writing it. My writing mojo is finally coming back after being in remission for the last couple of years. I have so many ideas, just not the right words to describe them all. :)

Mmm...it's more, "*starts writing* There's no spark. Dang. *moves onto another one*" and so forth. I don't know how writers with traditional publishing contracts force them to stick on one manuscript until it's done. Probably because they're guaranteed money and have editors breathing down their necks and I don't and I'm not. :P

I'd just like to get a book published this year. I've done one every year since 2010 (with the exception of Eleven, but even then, I appeared in a literary guide), so to be on June 13 without being halfway through the first draft of something is horrible! *laughs*
 
I'd like to do an annotated edition of my poetry anthology, but I just haven't been able to move myself in that direction. (Addicted to a non-neopets game. :P ) My second compilation is poetry, letters to the editor, blog entries and essays (even though I don't have any of the latter yet)...I could work on the introductions/notes that go with each of those so far, but I haven't gotten there, either.
 
I can't help but wonder if I'm legitimately stuck, or if it's just because a psychic put it into my head last summer that I'd have a hard time writing until about July and I just can't get it out. x_x

I can't see any other measures other than lowering the caps.

I thought new score system and then I, too, thought they might be dumping it. Soo...mysteries!

How coincidental! I am too! But I lost my original work, so I'm currently remaking one. I'm thinking of making a Maraquan Aisha, since it sort of looks like a mermaid. :P

I noticed there was a NaNoWriMo thread last fall, but there doesn't seem to be a dedicated writing thread, so...
