My Bob Ross-lookin' Lenny won first place in the neopoints Customization Spotlight! Man, I feel like I've really made it. My geek heart is bursting. My boyfriend looked at me like I was crazy, but I knew you guys would understand.
Today I went to enter my neopets in the Customization Spotlight (as I do sometimes on an arbitrary basis), and it told me I couldn't enter my Lenny because he had won within the past 2 months. *Huh?!* I thought. I checked the results, and lo and behold. They didn't send me a Neomail notification about it, and I have no idea how much I won, but I'm jazzed! The little fellow is even in the news. Yippee!

Yeah, the Shoyru just felt right for him, hehe. I also considered having him hold Doc's letter, as you did! 

Yup, I had the exact same problem! I'd really expected to at least find a skateboard, but none of the skateboard items on Neopets are wearable.
(I like how we both decided to use a Shoyru though. )

I thought that too (even though I didn't even enter my Doc or Marty). I'd underestimated the number of Doctors though; perhaps because I couldn't actually come up with any decent Doctor costumes.

Here was my other time traveler for #52. I tried to do Marty, but I couldn't get him right. For such an iconic character, there were pretty few items I found that really fit with him. No skateboard, no sports almanac-looking booklet, etc.
