    My weekly quest this week gave me a The Mystical Tablet (**eye twitches at the grammar**). Jellyneo rates it really high. Should I put it in my lineup? Oh, and I took your advice and just kept the Sword of Malum (wait, thatw as it, right? Eh, the one you said to keep) Illusen's Staff, healer, and pinberry for now. It's working, though I still don't tend to go for anything I can't beat in one round.

    I adopted one named pteriteet from the pound a week or so ago. I'm SO tempted to make my parakeet look like a cockatiel for the sake of the ridiculousness now. Wouldn't even have to decide what to paint him as since it'd cover his existing feathers.

    I'm assuming it's just that my browser is getting angry over all the timeout errors I've been getting lately, but has anyone else been getting the occasional message that the site isn't safe? It seems I can refresh and it goes away, but it's still a bit unsettling. I've gotten it at least once at the pound/looking up pets from lost and pound, once on the money tree, and a bunch of times in solitaire.

    I sold the soup and the knife because I didn't know they were good. **facepalm** Is the ghostkerbomb also once per battle, then you get it back, sort of like the pingrenade? I might hold off on that (I'm STILL trying to get to 100 million np in the bank, slowly as can be.) but could be a good upcoming purchase. For shields, I'm assuming I'd be using one weapon/one shield, right? So instead of doing double damage with two weapons, I'd be doing one weapon's worth of damage, plus blocking some of the attack coming at me? That's sort of why I've just been sticking to two weapons, really. I'll decide if I want to sell a second or get a bunch of other stuff (I'd be about 10 points short of everything I wanted if I got the second staff, so unsure right now!) Ohhh, and thank you

    It's fine! So I only need to look at the number of icons, and don't need to worry about defence much since I only do the 1 player BD? Edit: Also, though I'd miss some other prizes, would it be worth it at all to get a second Illusen's staff for a weapon, or just overkill when I could likely find something better? It didn't seem to do too much more damage than the other ones I've got did.

    Okay. SO! If a weapon does icons in some random stat (light, dark, whatever) does that mean only opponents weak to that are hurt, that they have to block it separately/can be less effective if it's say light vs. a light enemy, or is it just a different way of doing the same thing? I think that's one of the things still confusing me.

    If you're using windows, you can also use the snipping tool to get screenshots. (unless microsoft has removed it) Search for snipping tool in the search bar, and it'll give you a little thing with a box that says "new"! on the side. You can drag it to select a portion, unless the ad goes away really quickly. You can also hit the windows key+r, then snippingtool (no space) in the run box to open it. Unless they're closing, I've yet to run across anything that the snipping tool won't let me grab.

    I have a tutorial quest to paint one of my pets. **groans** I had just gotten my account back to what it was before the faerie festival. At least the kacheek from a side account I want to make royal can't use my fountain faerie dip.

    Happy (belated) birthday, @Pascalla The site has been taking up to 30 seconds to load/regularly not loading (504s or timing out errors) since the faerie festival for me. Honestly I didn't even notice the difference caused by this, haha. The tutorial is weird. I'm being asked to activate my account, but it has been activated for decades now. . . Also, I seem to be still getting the same quests, so when I get to work (aka have time to do some) I'll have to see if I can get the reward on both sides, or just the one. Edit again! I'm fairly certain some of my weekly progress reset. Quite interesting and irksome. I want to say I had 3-ish of it, but now I only have one. Hopefully that page doesn't reset when I get to work so I can confirm.

    Do you know if this is a limited time thing, or a continuous (so long as they don't get TOO too many complaints) thing? I don't like the wording on this. Does buy from any Neopian shop mean user shops as well? Because as much competition as there is from bots, the main shops are nearly impossible. Especially with the constant timing out. Edit: No, items from user shops do not count. Do we have to do all of them to get extra prizes at the end of a set time, or is it just I like this one, so I'll do this, or I like that one, so I'll do that? Especially since one is to feed my pets and I JUST put them in the neolodge. I'm not wasting the np unless it's necessary. Second edit: BE CAREFUL ACCEPTING REWARDS! It appears (unless it's a glitch) that you have the same list for daily and weekly, but can only claim it for one of those. So if you do all the quests and claim them on daily, you do not get any progress towards the weekly prize. Cheers, NP team. Much appreciated.

    Is it worth replacing one of my other crummy old weapons with, though? Especially if I got a staff and replaced a second with that? Of course I STILL tend to be a coward and go for fights I can win in one round, so I'm still sort of just working on one-round-kill sets. I'm hopeless

    Nothing on the glaive, then? I've got it in my SDB for now, but could easily get rid of one of my crummier weapons for it.

    Do you know anything about the weapon(s? I'm sure Jhudora's side got one too?) awarded for finishing the plot? Or are things like the hip blade (assuming that is a weapon) from the prize shop worth anything? Still trying to improve, but also am still wondering how to budget the points I get since I'd like too many prizes to just get 2 of the staves, equip one, and keep the other to sell when the price goes back up.

    So IS today the last day of the recycling? I've seen yes, but don't want to sell things until I know for sure >_> And of course then I get to figure out what to do with my points, haha.

    I like whale sharks, but that one is seriously disturbing. It looks like some mad scientist's hybrid between a dolphin and a whale shark.

    How consistently do they sell? I mean, it's SUCH a high value item that I'd get my bank account to well over what I had wanted to start reading books consistently at. I'd also likely be able to get some cheaper weapons that are as good, right?

    I was, yes. I searched for the current year and the combination with the faerie festival, yet somehow got the old page. Oh well. Only 600,000 np and an hour wasted. Could have been worse. **is still incredibly disappointed with herself**

    I am a huge idiot. I somehow managed to search for 4 point items and spent an hour+ today grabbing well over 130 of them from the shop wiz. Great. Hope any of the others I was buying in bulk are 8 pointers, but I somehow doubt it.
