Oh my. I did not know that. I figured it was a matter of writing a bit of code that said 'if player has not visited in X years, delete account/info connected to.' I suppose I didn't think that the info for each player may be stored across different databases/servers. That DOES seem a good bit more daunting.

I just wonder why they don't delete the long abandoned shops when they delete user accounts? Or do they not do purges THAT often? I am not sure the abandoned shops will ever be clear of their stock, since a lot have really old prices (I've seen things like the cans of peas I'm buying for less than 30 np for well over 100. . . It'll take years at this rate.)

Ahhh, gotcha. Well, that sort of makes sense, I suppose. A way to sort of censor them, so they don't end up saying things they should not, then?

Okay, going through a million shops, I keep seeing this. The shopkeeper is named a random number, and is saying a random number. Is this like a thing I missed?

Is the prize shop actually open somewhere already? I am spending entirely too many neopoints trying to get a couple of these perks, and would like to be making up the extra in interest. . .

I'm definitely doing that. Well, trying to at least. I keep forgetting to check the screen ? I have gotten a couple of lime elixirs from the healing portion of it as well, though. Edit: I hope the new system, whenever they get that up and going, is quicker than this one. . . I've got 4,600 points now. . . Eesh. But I did find one (possibly abandoned?) shop with about 100 1 point items at 20 np each. Score!

Oh my. I have 3,700 points, and the things I want (when combined) cost 18,500 ? Guess I need to figure out if it's worth it to buy that many np worth of stuff to get those things. Though one of them IS bank bribery, so I'll make some of it back at least.

I'm a music major! *insert smiley with pompoms* I just found out today that my petition to study at the local university was accepted. I want to minor in Chinese, and if I can ever get into grad school, I'll be doing historical musicology. Way too old to be starting my BA, but what can you do, right? I'll just have to find a job with said degree at some point, which will be the hard part.

Anyone know how the gift shop will be working yet?
