When you click the "community" link on the actual neopets site, you have an option to see certified and recommended fan sites. This includes TDN. I would stick to that list that neopets displays and not trust any other sites that offer access to dailies.

TNT is very good at reversing trades, especially of stolen UCs. Submit a ticket. They are not "bullies".

oooh yes I do love origins. I just recently upgraded (because I'm getting older lol) to their plantscription eye cream and I'm loving it so far! Moisturizing is key, and at any age too. And I'm a sucker for any Japanese brands, possibly because my Japanese mother has attempted to brainwash me into thinking that those products are superior to all others =_= lol..
 
And there isn't necessarily anything inherently wrong with face wipes, but I think they are best used in emergencies. Mainly because we tend to use too much pressure to remove makeup, instead of relying on the actual product within the wipes to do the job. I'm sure there are wipes out there that are amazing and can soak through all the makeup and grime without pressure, but I figure why bother tugging at your skin if you have to wash your face afterwards anyway?

The same thing happened to me last month.  I heard about someone's success when they posted a new ticket every day with the same information in polite language, posted with the ticket number daily on FB, and posted on http://www.neopets.c...topic=157288695this board every day.  It only took me two days to get my 9 yo account back.  I know those results are probably atypical, but it worked for me and is worth a shot, right?

 

The kind of ticket you want to submit is Frozen Account from your side, and if you use the same email address for both accounts, you are more likely.

I am so sorry this has happened to you =[[[[. It's ridiculous the things that people do in this world. Like honestly how is stealing a virtual pet going to get them anywhere in life? All it does is upset the hardworking people who raised their pets =/. It's also ridiculous that so many hacks have been happening lately. The security staff needs to get it together!
 
I hear that using social media to bring attention to the situation may speed up the process a bit. Making notes on the official neopets facebook page, continuously posting in the neoboards about the problem, for example. I'm not sure which neoboard it goes in, if someone else here on tdn could get that link up that would be great?

I worked in cosmetics for a short period of time, but it was long enough to drastically affect the way I care for my skin. In fact, I don't think I could even begin to talk about my skincare routine without writing an essay :shiftyeyes_anim:
 
The number one thing I would tell everyone is to make sure to always remove makeup first. And I don't mean with soap. Makeup is typically oil based; that's how it sticks to our skin. So you need an oil to remove it. Then you can come in with a regular cleanser to remove the excess oils that are more water soluble. Washing your face should always be a two step process. And forget makeup wipes! All they do is tug and pull at the skin without 100% dissolving the makeup...you are still left with residues to be washed off! And there is no point in using expensive serums and toners and moisturizers if they can't fully absorb into the skin.

I hope not! I like neopets because it's a nice little hour I can have to myself where I have mini goals and tasks that make me feel productive while I'm doing absolutely nothing.

I am taking it day by day, and I refuse to give into any negativity.  Thank you for volunteering at a shelter, you are doing a good thing for the cats.  
 
Everybody wants a kitten, and the older ones just sit there, it makes me so sad.  When Buster passed, I couldn't take the emptiness in my house, so I asked my supervisor to gather a list of the older ones who had been there the longest and were available for fospice.  One by one, we visited the cats; when I got to the 5th, I saw Titus and petted him, there wasn't a huge response and I was running out of seniors who were there for a bit.  As I turned around to go, I felt a cold, wet nose, and there was Titus.  We went home 15 minutes later.  What a sweet, affectionate, playful boy he is.  

This was a few days ago, but it was a HUGE achievement for me!! I finally won two games of Sakhamet Solitaire in a row to get the gold trophy! I've been working for that trophy (off and on) for over two years.

Spun the Wheel of Monotony for the first time in years and landed on the Tyrannian Paint Brush spot :)

I'm 24 and have been playing regularly for about 7 years now. My account is 12 years old. Friends of mine in Junior High got me into it and I'd play at lunch when we went to the computer lab or when we got the chance to go to the library. I didn't have a computer at home at the time.
 
I find the site to be a distraction from all of life's hurdles and also a good tool for procrastinating, which is something I tend to do quite often. My husband quite often makes fun of me for being on a "kids" site and also being a staff member here. I tell him I don't bug him about what he does online so he can leave me alone and at least I'm doing something somewhat constructive and working towards goals whereas he is just surfing the web seeing what he can find.
 
My 5 year old is showing an interest and thinks my pets are cute! One of these days I may let her help me dress up my girls. My other daughter is only 2.5 and could care less right now as long as she can sit with me she's happy.

I totally forgot the Meerca used to be on it's tail! I thought it looked cuter like that..also why when I played pokemon eons ago I named my sentret "Meerca" lol.

I had to google them, but I do think I've seen them before. I'm just not sure if I actually remember them from when they were around, or if I've simply seen people bring them up before.

I've been on Neopets since 2001, but I think those pets had already been changed by that point, however my sister was on a year before me and she remembers them. I know they were changed due to copyright infringement issues. It seems so odd to me now that there were human looking neopets.
 
I do remember a lot of the old looks, like how the Meerca was balancing on its tail, when the Kougra was facing forward and when the Moehog's nose sloped downward. I also pretty much remember how all the pets looked right before they got converted for customization (which I know wasn't till 2007) and of course the circular background.

Yeah I like the Turtum as well, i think that head piece is just flamboyant enough to represent royalty!

The 8-bit is pretty good, though I don't like them enough to own one. I like the coloration on the Water, but don't grok the water at it's hands and antennae. Is he leaking? Is it controlling water with it's hands (and feelers)? Maybe I just don't get the point of water. Are they supposed to be IN water, or BE water?

I honestly didn't mind the reCAPTCHA at all, I just wish the pictures had been more fun, and better quality, rather than generally looking like they were taken with a 15 year old phone through a dirty window.  >_<
 
The day I got to click on pancakes was a happy one, lol. But more often than not it was store fronts in what looked like 3rd world slums...

I'm 19 now and I've been playing since I was 7. I've taken a lot of breaks but I usually end up coming back every year for the advent calendar. I'm just glad I still have my old account ☺
