I've never actually gotten into a lot of neopet based forums, even neoboards, until now. The neopets community is huge! First day here at TDN but have definitely used this site in the past; played neopets since it was THE THING in my middle school years -- while everyone dropped it, I have grown quite attached to the site! I feel like neopets is a game that gets better with age. I've discovered so many things in the past year -- the value of UC, FC, really wealthy neopians, really generous neopians, and all around interesting things that make this site so enjoyable.

Yes, I was going to say, I think the boat matches VERY nicely with the background. They both have the "altadorian" looking stars. The cape is a nice touch, whether you go with that particular one or a different one, I think a cape would work best with a maraquan. Other than that, sometimes less is more. You don't always have to get too crazy to look nice. Simple can be nice too. I always like to look at people's customizations. I haven't really seen any I dislike.

The foreground is part of the background. It's the Enchanting Boat Ride Background, and that includes the foreground.
 
Honestly, I think what you have here for the customisation is pretty good! It's simple, and Maraquans are difficult to customise. :/ If it were me, though, I'd go for an underwater background rather than a boat one. The Maraquan Gelert looks like it's floating, so it might look better in an environment where it would be floating.

just some feedback but I feel the boat foreground is a little busy while not really matching the background. It might work though with a different background? of course, the cape is one of your few options, but you know, you dont have to use it if you dont want to. overall its pretty nice. I do think that theres some potential with that foreground though so yeah. Hope I helped?

So, I've been playing for a couple of years, and I played a few years before that some time ago on a different account.
Pretty much this whole time I have shunned the idea of NC... what? Spend real money on fake stuff?? Wth?? There's no way.
I have a baby pet. She's hard to dress. Anyway, last year I decided to buy a tiny bit of NC, plus I had some as neopets prizes here and there. I bought a few cute things, it was fun.
Now I have 3 pets and I am suddenly ALL ABOUT customizing them and dressing one in particular (dartessa the yellow aisha - hopefully soon to be transparent... it's either that or leave her as she is - always in her geraptiku mask.. haven't decided yet).
Yesterday I hit a low and bought NC to buy dartessa a new outfit. REALLY???!! I can't help but laugh at myself. Honestly lol. The people I work with think it's hilarious, though I have never admitted to spending $. That's too far, haha.
Anyway, I don't know how to put her picture in but here's a link to my dressy pets... I change them up here and there, though spteri the cybunny's always stealthily stoic ;)

I just thought I'd share... Neopets is too cute and I can't help but like it.

I hadn't realized that the scoreboards for Illusen and Jhudora haven't reset. HOPEFULLY June will be your month then!
 
LOL If ONLY we could steal the entire set away. Stealing has been down for quite a while. Which does stink, although unless you're packing the incredibly retired Tornado Ring. ;) Otherwise, you'd only be able to steal one random weapon, and that's only once per the battle. For stealing, I'd recommend the Heavy Robe of Thievery but you'd need to increase your Lutari's movement/agility stat to 201 to steal with it. There is an incredibly low Intelligence requirement, but I'm sure your Lutari is far above that. LOL

I took a few years break and returned in November so I dont know. Anyone know when stealing stopped working? When I left the last time, stealing and withdrawing from battles were still possible. I would really enjoy stealing my new battle set, Plumbeard has some really worthwhile items.

I love your eyries! Magma is such a great color for them. I spent months finding my magma time-- which is at 5:03 am mean TNT mean-- to paint my Eyrie magma but got a lucky Halloween zap before I could. I use the same foreground too.

To be fair, and please, someone, correct me if I am wrong, DoN was broken before JS took over Neopets from Nickleodeon, and, I believe, when they changed from the old Battledome to the "new" Battledome. Hoping it will get fixed, eventually. I'm sure it is on a list somewhere.

Well, look at it this way. You can use the time while DoN is down, to continue training. So that when DoN is brought back online, you can go much farther in battle than you could at this point in time. With the AC coming up in a few weeks, not to mention all the other site-glitches, the BD sadly will probably be awhile before everything is working there. At least you can battle regular opponents and participate in the faction skirmishes, for items, glory and boons. :) And the more you train your pet, the more opponents you'll be able to take on too! And if you want some new "shinies" for your lookup, there are dozens upon dozens of games you can try to earn more trophies. Or even some quests, like Jhudora's and Illusen's quests. Though I'd recommend waiting until the monthly trophies are cleared at the end of this month, if you want a better chance at earning a trophy from either of them. ;) TDN has a lot of game guides, so if there is a game, or are some games you are interested, chances are TDN would have a guide for it.

I could have sworn there was another way to request your birthday sent to your email or something where it didn't require a ticket being sent in but I must be mistaken.
 
This is a problem for a lot of people and I really wish they would remove the whole birthday requirement because I have an old account that I know the password too but the birthday is keeping me from getting in. And I KNOW that I used some random birthday by clicking random dates because I was cautious about people on the internet knowing my real birthday.
 
 
 
 
As per the original question by Lady Lyuba, I think your best bet is to send in a ticket. Which unfortunately can take forever for the TNT staff to reply to. I have read on the boards where it has taken some people years but maybe, just maybe you could be a lucky bet. Also, people say to e-mail the customer service or send them a message on facebook and it will sometimes "bump" your ticket to importance. Of course, a lot goes into actually verifying your account but if you can possibly remember some neofriends, sdb items, previous passwords, specific achievements like "i bought a faerie paint brush and painted thenameofmypet with it in July of 2008" or something then they will probably tell you your birthday. i know TDN has a page about recovering accounts but I cannot for the life of me find the link right now.

I'm so ecstatic for my 2nd fountain dip this year after not getting a single FFQ in over a decade playing. But who to paint this time now that Buzzin' has been deal with? Maraquan Draik and Eyrie are/were my original favorites before conversion, now Maraquan is so hard to customize. Im hoping for a robot lutari and dont want to zap a fountain dipped pet. yes i know the chances are slim to none but its nice to dream, but after robot i really like mutant. As i chose a baby buzz last time I'm leaning towards expensive. The pet I plan to MP if draik or krawk is Sparky of the Playa. So many choices!

I just got my first FFQ after 11 years. While I love my Gelerts stealthy and Lutaris island relaxed, I do want that Buzzin' avatar.
What color should I paint my buzz?

I have Ghoul Catchers and had no idea this was a requirement. This is really concerning since your camera can be turned on without your knowledge by an outside party... I hardly ever play because the game is all glitchy and slow moving, but still!
