So I had a background in my trades and the first offer was a low offer from a player with a 1 Week shield on his lookup. I sent a neomail explaining that if the bg was for his pet, I'd accept, otherwise, I'd reject his offer. He writes back and says that he is interested in reselling the bg tbh, and says that better offers will come (paraphrasing).
I thought his message was thoughtful, and...well...I accepted the resale offer anyway.
Around 15 minutes go by, and he writes me back and tells me to grab 10 junk items and head over to his trades. There, in glorious splendor are 100 gorgeous Rubber Ducks!!! I hor...*ahem*...collect Rubber Ducks, and I just...what a great start to a Wednesday!

Of course, because we haven't had enough down time lately with all of the lag, the down time in December and in November during GMC. LOL.

Try changing your language in the NC Mall. It seems to work better, there. I usually use the "language trick" to get my pet to read a book he thinks is "boring". I would use the "Select Language" drop down box at the bottom of every Neopet page, and my pet would then "read" the book. I would then change the language back to english, but would notice funny things, like my inventory still showing the other language, or the logout page would still be in the other language. From reading here, on TDN, I learned both tricks. Give it a try in the NC Mall.

I decided to do a little Give Away, leading up to Thanksgiving. Although we do not celebrate it in Belgium, I know many of you do so I thought it might be a fun idea. 
I have selected heaps of doubles of books and clothing items from my SDB and closet to donate here, because I love this little community and how everyone is here for another, to help out with questions or even items. It seemed like a small thing to do in return. 

Now, how does this work;
Each user can choose 5 numbers, ranging from 1 to 250. You will receive the items I have put with those numbers around Thanksgiving Day.
- You are not allowed to enter more than once unless I say so. 
- Each number can only be picked once.
- Items can not be swapped for something else. 
- I will not tell you what they are beforehand. 
- There is no logic to it, every item is put with a random number. 
- Once you have received the items you are absolutely free to do with them as you please. 
 
They are not rare and expensive items but I hope everyone will be thankful and pleased nonetheless.

Buried Treasure costs 0nps today...I'm assuming that's because its Neopets' 16th birthday. Either way, have fun playing! Hope you hit the jackpot :D

Lots of perks today.
My training is free at the Swashbuckling academy.  At first I thought it was a bug, but training is free today!

I have a feeling that it was intentional  :mellow: There are other Pastel pets that have 4 different colours, but all of their heads match their bodies. I think they should have either made the torso green along with the head (and kept the limbs pink/blue and the feet yellow), or get rid of the green entirely and stick with pink/blue/yellow.

I've been on Neo for a long time, and while I use TDN every day to do my dailies, I've never been a part of the boards :/. I'm looking to change that though.
