I actually am second guessing whether I want one now and am glad I hadn't painted one yet as to me the new design is absolutely horrible. I liked the softness and the difference of the old one and if I painted it and it got changed I definitely would be contacting TNT to see if they'd do anything about changing it back xD

I’m actually surprised to see people put off by it at all. This is amazing & I love the colors! Nothing about it looks odd to me at all, can’t wait to get one! Only thing I would have to say is it is way too closely looking to Bumpy from Jurassic World. I wonder if that could get them in trouble?

Mine isn't fixed, I know I didn't miss yesterday and when I got the notification to spin today around 3a EST my time it never let me spin, still isn't letting me spin at 6:28a my time and it seems my streak reset even though I hadn't missed a day.

Oh really like no Charity Corner this year? Or never again? I still have been hoarding things. Still miss how the first Charity Haven was, wish it would of stayed that way with the items as I prepared for it just to only get points and a reward shop the next time around haha

Hey all! I've been back around the last couple months and figured I'd start getting back into the forums with this post. It just felt awkward coming back on here and I've just been lurking as I use to be pretty active and know a lot of people on here (Hi to those that are still here!) Had a pretty rough break-up with my fiance and it's just kind of put a lot of things in perspective, gave up Neopets for awhile due to him and just a lot of things that made me happy just for it really not to matter in the end. It's been rough and it still will be, but I'm getting through the hard parts, things don't hurt as much as they did in the beginning of this year and I'm just focusing on things that really make me happy again. Neopets, family, church, God, hobbies, etc so I'm definitely glad to be back, whether that reason I'm back is sad or not Hope to re-connect with you all!

I think a lot of the more innocent dressing up came from people that don't like the dark intonations of said holidays. Myself being a Christian, Halloween themes can tend to be dark, Though I'm not going to lie, I love myself a good scary movie or haunted house, but I've never been a big blood and gore person. As someone said before it's origin is actually of Celtic descent and not of American/US, but it actually started as a way to ward off ghosts. They'd light bonfires and wear costumes to get rid of them. The part about honoring the dead I think has a more Spanish/Mexican descent. But like I said, as far as it goes for me and I know for a lot of Christians or people of faith (IF they even celebrate it) the nicer costumes is way for us to participate without having to go against our beliefs and have to partake in the blood and gore. My mother was never big on the haunted aspect, we weren't allowed to go into Haunted houses or watch scary movies growing up (oh lawdy, hope she doesn't see that I kind sorta have done that and like some of them! lol), plus dressing up is just so much fun! Me being a cosplayer myself (Someone who dresses up as their favorite characters or makes costumes and goes to events throughout the year) Halloween just gives me another reason to dress up as something super neat and show off my costume making abilities @Yuiina Not all of us can afford a ticket to another country and "enjoy the ride" and to downvote people's creativity just cause it's not spooky seems mean. Just because something isn't spooky doesn't mean it's not Halloweenie, as said before Halloween costumes didn't necessarily have a spooky origin. I doubt the Celts were running around like a murderous Clown trying to eat children (just saying). Me being someone that likes to cosplay, as I said above, Halloween is a wide event in which it's almost free to participate in, having to buy a ticket to every convention and event that's not Halloween just because I don't want to wear a spooky costume is too expensive and I can't say a lot of people wouldn't be able to afford that. I don't think it's entirely fair to also say kids should be excluded from an event in which they can get some goodies just because they don't want to dress in the bloody and gorey, or spooky aspect of Halloween. I guess it also depends on the way your were raised but seeing kids running around as witches and serial killers or killers from movies just makes me sad. I would much rather see them dress as their favorite character, heck even a Disney Villain would be much less demonic then Freddie or Jason (which I will never understand why you want you kid dressed like that! (not you but the world haha)) ?

Bummer, I didn't think there was a limit, does that mean I can't update the page anymore with peoples trophies and it's going to keep deleting it? I was worried if I'd ever run into this, but never saw a character count. Which will suck as I don't know how I'll be able to keep running a trophy cabinet when more members join and win trophies. Normally I save things that I'm working on, but as I've never had this issue never saved this specific page. The weird thing is on some of the other pages the overhang this is on them, but I haven't updated or added anything to them, so not sure why they'd delete code from those pages when it hasn't hit the max.

Can confirm that a lot of my webpages are mess up, even ones I haven't edited for months (the stupid Overhang thing) WHAT IS GOING ON!?!? http://www.neopets.com/~June684256 http://www.neopets.com/~Kasai_Tamashi http://www.neopets.com/~vanityaffair http://www.neopets.com/~asuna_chan777#Dailies (Some have weird layering behind the box with the overhang) The first username works all the way up to fdsadfsafdsdsadsa username, if you click on featheraloffense and any name after that it won't take you to the anchored page because all that data just up and disappeared. Like it's actually gone from my coding too, you can see that the last box/entry is fdsadfsafdsdsadsa. The weird overhang I'm seeing is in the Retired Guild Avatars box and any of the guild members anchored pages. On my end I see a see-through overhang extending past the white content box. So I've been editing this page for years, The Kindness Project Trophy Cabinet . I last edited it on August 27th and had absolutely no issues, everything was the way it's always been. I come back today to edit it for the end of our guild contest and low and behold it's messed up, and BY A LOT! Every anchored page after the username fdsadfsafdsdsadsa is gone! I'm talking about years of trophies for members and other things tracking their achievements just gone! I didn't do this and no one has access to my account. Another thing I noticed is the last box on the main page is scrolling it's background ALL the way to the bottom of the page, it didn't do this before and every username you can click on up to fdsadfsafdsdsadsa are also like that. The boxes should only stick to the content and extend when the content extends, at that it seems to be the background border that's extending for some odd reason. I did not mess with anything in the style section last time I update, only added trophies to people's cabinets and I sure as heck didn't delete anyone's cabinets. Did neopets change something about there coding did I just get a horrible glitch? Is there anyway to get everyone's previous cabinet back or the code? (Already tried my history, and my last back-up was just the base of the page as I've never had issues like this before), would also like to know what's causing that overhang as it wasn't there before O.o Any help would be appreciated, not sure if I want to scream, cry, or be mad cause that's some stuff that I don't even know if I can get back!

I have a few people that I've referred the to forums so they can message me about a few things (Links to our Member's Welcome spreadsheet that we obviously can't share on Neo due to the blocked links), but they said they need to be verified... which is weird cause I never went through that process on here, I just verified my email. Any who it's been about a week going on two weeks since they signed up for the forums and still no verification, anyone know how to fix this or make the process faster?

Yeah it can be a tad bit nerve racking. I'm sure it'll be fine as far as Neo goes, just wonder what all is going to go to HTML5 and when before all the browsers decide to do this O.o

I guess I'm not so much worried about Neopets shutting down as I believe it's just something that has that charm that people keep coming back to. I'll have to check into it again @Nielo I remember when I was editing the pages it was messing up on me before when I would click on anchored links within the page and it not showing up properly. I guess I'm just a old fashioned person, sad to see flash go xD LOL From my personal experience Firefox has always crashed on me, loaded slower, plus I've used Chrome for years, all my addons and saved pages and everything are in here. I've just not had a lot of good experience with Firefox. It IS updated and at it's latest version, but to me has still run slower than Chrome ever has. (IE we all know is the paste eater of the family so I won't go there! xD lol)

Hey all, so I noticed an announcement on google a few days back that they plan on getting rid of flash player. Which REALLY sucks cause Google Chrome is the only thing I use for Neopets, I absolutely hate how slow Firefox is and Internet Explorer.... lets not event go there. On top of that, my page that I have set up for the webbie on my guild don't show up properly on Firefox or Internet explorer, the anchored stuff just doesn't work right. So what does this mean for Neopets then? Will you not be able to play it with flash? (Which I'm assuming is the case.)
