Hey everyone,
Just wondering if anyone had any trouble collecting any prizes from the advent calendar today (with the Soup Faerie clip).
I tried clicking the "Collect My Prize!!!" button but I received a big red Oops box reading: "Error: Sorry, there was a problem awarding your prizes!"

Anyone else receive this error?  :guiltysmiley: I want mahhh prizessss

Oh noes! Assistance, anyone, please! (OAO) I was at the trading post and I was about to re-post one of my trades. I went to close the trade, hit the "cancel this lot" button, and the usual "Are you sure you want to cancel this trade?" thingy popped up. I went to go click yes and I accidentally also hit the check box that prevents that pop up from re-appearing at the trading post. 
And now, I can't cancel any of my trades! (/>A<)/ It must be because I can't confirm that I want to cancel the lot because the pop-up can't come up. wahhh! How do I fix this? I'd really appreciate some help.

Anyone else notice how the JumpStaff is releasing fantastic art every week for any new items available on the site, but most of the new Neopet colors have been a tad horrendous? :mellow:  

It isn't all of them, but most look like... well, lazy work. I have even seen amateur fan artists edit these newly released colors to look more aesthetically pleasing, so it should not be all that difficult for the official staff to do a better job. I have been waiting for countless pet colors for months, and once they have arrived, I always recoil and cringe in my seat at the novice, crayola-looking illustrations for these poor Neopets <_< Anyone else feel this way about new items vs new pets? Because the item artworks look great! The same effort, nay, more effort should be put into drawing and coloring pets!  :sad01_anim:

Oh, absolutely! You can get a Pirate Draik Egg these days for about 300k or even less sometimes! Times really have changed. I used to gawk at users with multiple Draik or Krawk pets. Now it's fairly common *sigh*

 

And by the way, I completely empathize with your Neopoint spending OCD. I cannot buy anything over about 15k; and that's if it's for my gallery! I just earned 26 million in my bank this month, and I STILL spend neopoints sparingly  x_x I trade like a beast because I'm comfortable bartering rare items for even more rare items to sell them for a huge profit. And that's hard work these days, too! All because of the crazy inflation  :S 

 

I also think it is because we're old users from 2008 and back; prices were different then! Everything used to cost a fortune, so learning to treat your bank like a true savings account was crucial! Honestly, though, with 26mil in the bank I should at least go through with painting all my pets xD;;

Okay so the daily puzzle question has been the same every day since Nimmo day and I'm getting really sick of receiving Nimmo Topiaries <_< I wonder how many more days it'll be the same lol. Got nothing but topiaries in the money tree, lots of ten of them free at the trading post, they even somehow end up by the truck loads in my inventory, they're everywhere o__o

Hm, I would say this new Biscuit Quiggle looks more like a rum raisin loaf... err... and with that look in its eyes, I'd say the baker was heavy handed with that rum. oof.

I have an ear-bug right now, but I have absolutely no idea what song it really is. It's a song I heard randomly that was in Portuguese and I instantly loved it. I've tried googling the only lyric I could comprehend: "fantasmas" (which of course means phantom or ghost). All I know is that it was young female vocals, the tune was upbeat and island-y sounding, and a ukelele was being played. Can anyone help me find this song? O__O I've tried asking yahoo and reddit with no luck. Haaaaaalp :S

I cannot seem to find a recent price on the Tangle Net Gun. it seems valuable and was offered to me as an overpay item at the trading post for one of my trades worth 2mil total. So I was wondering if this item was even worth 2mil or more? Please and thanks!

Everything in the news is WRONG. Sponge paint brush? Only one new color, no clothing, basic HTML stuff. The Cap'n Threelegs link taking to the Rainbow Pool, the Art Gallery link taking to a Kougra Day page, and there's even a picture in the gallery with the name CYBUNNY SEXY. Meanwhile, grape is a bad word.

 

I don't feel like playing anymore. :(

Honestly, I completely agree. Updates are constantly late, tons of fun stuff on the site is still down and hasn't even been mentioned by the staff, all the contests are pretty much gone, we only get one color this year for a limited edition pet, and all the new colors and items have simply fallen flat. it's so hard for me to watch this happen to neopets. Man, I miss KeyQuest, too. Jeez..... "Cybunny Sexy". I had to see it with my own eyes. And wow. Just wow. :hmmph:

Go mutant! :rock: after I save up some more, I'm definitely giving the transmogrification potion to my new Lutari!

Maybe someone who has a map can help you! Trade a pet in to battle and change back :) I dunno who to suggest would be reliable though...

Pretty clever. I thought of doing that with my boyfriend's help since his account has the map. However, Lutaris cannot be transferred. yeah x__x luckily that one user got back to me about the potion and let it go for 1 mil pure for me. I got the gender changed. phew.

:weird: That was super eerie! Cool find. Gave me an uneasy feeling; even toward such a cute pet as a Vandagyre! Ha I thought it was funny that the user's other pet got a normal page with the description "I literally have no idea what to put here" xD All the creativity got poured into this pet I guess

battle the lab ray scientist to change gender in the battledome. you dont even need to win. it only takes 1 or 2 rounds.

 

I would if I had the lab ray :S but I don't. and the full map is the same price as the Strange Potion

I did see that one at the tp and I did try to message the person. hopefully someone else will step forward sooner, though. As for the person with one in their gallery, it seems doubtful only because that person was last spotted 131 days ago xD bummer. username shimmerei is currently the only one who has one readily available to my knowledge. I had been excitedly awaiting to create a Lutari all day yesterday and spent a long while today checking and refreshing for Lutaris.
And finally I was elated to discover I could make one just now and I gave him the perfect name. Problem was that since I had just woken up from a deep sleep, I forgot to check the gender, and now I'm stuck with a female. Curse my sleepy eyes to oblivionnnnnnnn.

So, anyway, I was wondering if anyone had a Strange Potion in their possession? I'd love buy or trade for it. I'd be willing to trade a Doughnutfruit for one which is about double what the potion ought to be worth

What kept me checking all day was that the daily puzzle question was concerning Lutaris yesterday so I concluded that even if no new colors are announced yet, it was still Lutari Day. Better sit here and keep hitting refresh lol did anyone actually create one?

It does still exist! Now you have to hold the exact same amount as the price of asparagus per kilogram. :laughingsmiley:

Is it possible to obtain the avatar of Adam going "Muahaha" anymore? I remember as a kid you needed to have more neopoints than him to get the avatar but I'm not sure if that exists anymore

I was simply wondering what this plushie is actually worth. I know it's hard to sell, as most plushies are. But I've seen different prices for it from many different years. anywhere from a low of 200k to a high of 1 mil. Any wisdom?

 

 

Also, what the heck is a Green Urapa Bead? O.o and what is it worth? so strange. the description of the item is vague as can be.

DAT. HAT. THOUGH. So what is it with Apple Bobbing Bart's hat? Some sort of a story or lore to this? I've tried to google about it (without finding any real info.) since sometimes, while bobbing for apples, my Neopet will see a reflection in the water that is evidently Bart's hat. And then it states that my Neopet feels disturbed doesn't sleep well that night. I laugh every time. What is with his creepy hat? O_O

TNT stated (in a response to a ticket) that you should just discard the item.

 

Please DON'T accept any trades or items that are too good to be true. They are likely duplicated items and may cause more problems for you later on.

Rats. That's disappointing. But is there any compensation in order for these items? I mean, I had to do a lot of fair trading and hard work to get that Faerie Paint Brush (a real one) and now that I traded it off for the Stealth Paint Brush, I'm back to square one? If I request some kind of a compensation, would they consider it?

There's no book called "Care for Chias" but there is a book called "How to Care for Asparagus Chias". Perhaps the user made a mistake. Since the user is only asking for advice on where to find a book for a faerie quest, it's not a scam, but they probably made a mistake on the name of the book.
