Honestly my biggest complaint has always been how rude people are on the boards. It is a userbase thing and maybe it is better now than it was years ago, but the boards have always come across as smug and rude (with a few boards being exceptions, the help board is almost always full of great people).
 
Most of my problems on neo over my time playing (12 years? more?) have been more based with other players than with the site itself (barring recent issues, anyway).

I hate it when you wanna quickly buy something but you have to scroll down the online equivalent of War and Peace just to get to it cause of the mass of images and nonsense. I don't care, I just want my codestone! 
 
Also I hate the junk from dailies. I don't know if it's possible for them to change the prizes but the same thing day in and day out gets boring. Not even expensive things but something new.
 
Aaaaand finally for me it's the impossible game avatars. I'm awful at games and no matter how many guides I read and videos I watch I am never getting those.
 
I think that'll be all.

I'm sorry to see people quit. I'm going nowhere. :) I'm used to frustration, I raised children AND worked for the government. :P
 
I don't know why some have trouble and some don't. I don't seem to have much lag at all and no loading issues. Over the weekend I had zero lag. I've played the new app Ghouls game and receive my prizes and points immediately into my Neopets account so I don't know why I am ok and others aren't. I'm playing the app game on Facebook if that makes a difference.

I got my wish granted by the Wishing Well this morning, so I was able to add another stamp to my Faerieland album. :D

Great day :rock: I was able to get some valuable items and sell them fast... so I could finally dress my Uni (now I only need the background and I'm done with his customization :woot: ). I also got my faerie Shoyru morphing potion but I haven't used it yet, I can't make up my mind whether I should paint a new pet or morph my Flotsam (it's a pity I have to make this decision, I need to leave room for a Cybunny... but I love my Flotsam :sad02: ).
 
Oh, and I also got almost 50k on a random event yesterday :laughingsmiley: .

Just after reading all of the REs where people got lots of NPs, yesterday I got 10kNPs in a RE and today I got
 
While out for a stroll, iceflame_97 looks down and finds 47,729 NP on the ground. Today looks like a lucky day!
 
That's pushed me over 2mil in the bank!!! Yay :D (maybe the site is trying to make up for me losing a level in a RE yesterday...stupid coconuts falling on heads..grr)

Eventful day for me! Got the Forgotten Shore avatar :D and since now my account is 4 months old I got to buy the Grimoire of the First Order in the Hidden Tower and now i have the HT-Rich and the Faerie Queen avatars :) :)

Outsourcing is just common sense if profit is the goal. Let's face it, if Neopets isn't making profit, it wouldn't be kept around for much longer. Laying off most of staff means JS doesn't have to pay employer stuff. It is very possible that it might hire out the work to contractors, some of which will be the exact same TNT staff. Outsourcing does not have to mean to a third world country, and even if it did, it is not the evil of all evils.
 
As for abandoning ship, nah. Sorry, mate, I have no agenda on Neopets, I don't take sides. I will continue to pay premium (cause that makes sense, cancel one of their main sources of income as a protest again them downsizing..) for as long as there is premium. Things change and that's okay.

i will certainly keep playing and won't abandon ship :)

Kody, I think your caption is funny. I am one of those guilty of leaving my tree up into middle of Jan. or even end of Jan. It's always too sad to remove them. I love Christmas trees! We use live trees from a tree and freshly cut them ourselves about 2-3 weeks before Christmas, so it stays fresh a very long time. If I had a fake tree, I'd probably never take it down but change it with each holiday, all year.

I always find it interesting to see which captions the judges decide to post. Seldom do they choose my favorites of my entered captions (though, admittedly, oft times the humor in mine is a bit adult and/or esoteric). This week, these were my two faves of the captions I entered:

Hi. I've been here before but it's been so long I decided to intoduce myself again. I live in NE PA in the US where it's very cold right now, II mean VERY cold, but hey, it's winter. :)
 
I enjoy entering the CC and am in this week's contest but I'm not asking for any votes here this round as I'm new. I have a CC friend from here, Josh, who is usually in the CC as well. I also like to enter Poetry and have had five poems held over but never published. A bit frustating but I'll keep trying. I also love customizing my pets so stop by and take a look at them. They love to show off.
 
In real life I love writing, crafts, and am a voracious reader. I'm always reading something, usually more than one book at a time. I also have been doing genealogy for years. I'm retired now but was a paralegal for the govt. for many years and I majored in history, which I love. Oh, I also collect teddy bears.
