I'm sure I'm not the only one that's wondered why partially eaten omelettes, jellies, and pizzas are priced higher than whole ones. So has anyone figured it out yet?
More importantly, why do people even buy them? Anyone here ever brought a part omelette, etc?

Yes, a lot of things in Neopia are surprising to me.  I had gotten a music box from the TDMBGPOP.  I gave to my pet to play with and he broke it! I was sooooooo upset with him for doing that so I brought to Donnie's toy repair shop and paid to have it fixed and put it in my shop.  While pricing it, I realized that it was worth more broken!!!! So now I got WAY less points for a music box that I could have gotten much more for had I not PAID to have it fixed.  LMAO.  I didn't understand the logic until I posted here and was reminded of the avatar.  I already had the avatar, so I didn't even get that when I had it repaired.  Guess I should have researched first and not been so quick to fix it.  And I shouldn't have been so mad at my poor pet for breaking it.
Since there is no avatar for the omelettes, I am not sure what the fascination is.

Lol there are galleries for partially eaten food? I figured it was something like that, but wouldn't it be easier and cheaper to just "create" it yourself by feeding your pet? Or are people so impatient to fill up their galleries that they can't wait a couple days for their pets to get hungry? I dunno...it just seems weird to me that the demand for part foods is that much higher than normal foods - they can be like 3x or 4x more expensive.
And the weirdest thing is, for some omelettes, 2/3 pieces are more expensive than 1/3 omelettes, even though the latter would take more work to create. There's a conspiracy going on, I tell you!

I'm very introverted, I couldn't deal with having people stay here D:< I guess I'm "lucky" in that because of my MS this would never happen anyway, my health issues would stop me from being able to play hostess to guests, but I still share your horror at having no means to get away from people.

A lot of people don't understand what being introverted means. My mum doesn't. I didn't, not for years. I always described myself as anti-social, my mum throws that back at me now despite me explaining to her that I now realise I'm an introvert and not anti-social at all. But she just can't get her head around the fact that I'm friendly and out-going, but introverted. She definitely seems to think introvert=miserable unfriendly git.
No mum, I'm a friendly person, I LOVE spending time with people, but that time spent hugely drains my mental batteries and I need alone time to recharge, it's as simple as that.

I honestly don't remember much from the early days, except that someone hacked into my account and gave me a secret lab map piece! I miss whoever that was. I was almost hesitant to change my password.
Was Lenny Conundrum a thing then, or was that during the Viacom years? Anyway, as a huge logic puzzle geek, I really miss that.

Me too! I spent 2 days getting 700 if I was lucky, but today I beat Chadley by 200+ points on my second try! Turns out all I needed was the sound.
This game was nowhere near as frustrating for me as Kou-Jong though. I spent aaaaages on that game because I kept getting that stupid score sending error (probably because I took too long to finish the game). I don't know how people manage to have even a 1 sec bonus on the hard mode levels.
DD has turned out to be a good guide for games to AVOID for me. I know I'll never touch Kou-Jong or Barf Boat again!
