@GillyTook Thank you. Oh gee, I didn't even realize/remember we can't mention the socials on the Neoboards, but you're right. Not sure if it's typical, but they didn't seem to post it on their socials anyway. I see they posted it on the NeoBoards though. Unfortunately, that's not an area of the site I frequent and is not too helpful for when the site is undergoing the actual maintenance. It might be a lot more helpful if they notified users in a way that's a lot more visible. They have a lot of options for that. Not sure why they haven't been doing that. Something definitely worth addressing!

Where do they even make note about these maintenance runs? That I only find out about them when they're happening makes it seem like wherever they're saying it, if anywhere, is a bad place to put it. I did my dailies, thankfully, but as someone who logs in for the day near midnight this sure would have been not-so-great if I hadn't done them at 12 AM-ish today. I'm not seeing posts on the few Neopet social media accounts or anything either. Additionally, having the maintenance screen/pop up actually note the expected downtime would have been a better option. Nothing against TDN, of course, but shouldn't have your users have to go to fan sites to get information like this. I used to think the site I'm usually on was maybe even excessive about how they let us know when they'll be doing maintenance, but now I see I've had it good. I'll have to thank them.

It was my birthday yesterday but I had to work all day, so I missed the launch of this. I wonder if it resets on Monday/Sunday. Like I wonder if it's one of those if you miss a day of the week then you get nothing/everything resets before you can reach the end and you have to try again for the next week type of thing. But this started on a Tuesday, so I feel like that'd be weird...

Well, at least both sides are still out in nature. I was really thinking of going for Illusen's side because my usual aesthetic is greenery, forests, and such. However, everything I did (dice, number generators, looking at the prize pool) pointed to Jhudora's festival, so I picked hers. I do really like Jhuidah though, so maybe that might have convinced me to go to Illusen's side, ha hah! I agree. ;_; I mean, just because you're "grumpy" doesn't mean you don't know how to throw a "party", you know? If that was the case then why would Queen Fyora pick her to help plan the festival in the first place? That doesn't make sense.;;

Ah. I guess I missed yesterday because I didn't know it started, but hey at least I got a Fountain Faerie Quest for my first quest today. Can't complain-- though I don't know what to use it for yet.

All of this is so cool! What a nice little glow up for Techos! The tails are pretty cool too! No tornado tail for wind elements though. :^C Would have looked kinda cool and worked well since the tail is more vertical, but oh well. This is actually my first time seeing these Valentine's colors, so as it was, I thought it was pretty cute. Looking at the other Valentines pets so far though, I think at least a little bow or something on the tail at the very least could have been a cute little choice. Maybe a lil' techo bowtie. They could have thrown more of a little red in there to make it a little more dynamic or different-- red is associated with Valentines too, after all.

No, that one I know aligns more with Easter. I had to look into it. Apparently I was thinking of the little faerie quests event that would run for two weeks or so. I thought those were just another Faerie Festival thing all this time. With some years as exceptions, it looks like it would usually happen around February/March. I actually didn't notice that we haven't had that since 2020. I thought I was just not checking well enough and missing it.;;

I never realized that the Faerie Festival was in September all this time. I always thought it was around March for some reason.;; Then again, I barely ever memorize any dates on Neopets. I just see it's happening and roll with it.

Well, I'm down to watch. I'm coming from, once again, looking through Zazzle to see if Neopets put any Quiggle designs up aside from Ealyn Hawkshanks on the Krawk Island team picture. They have not. So I'm hoping we get some Quiggle representation in this show so that maybe I can get some new Quiggle merch for once. :/
