The Forgotten Shore has not worked for me in the past week...is there anyone else having the same problem? I may go a few days and it says there is nothing there/nothing to be found (whatever it says)...but this time it has been a while.

I was trying to get rank 12, and at 11:35pm...the last day of the AC, I could not access the games! I was sooo upset-I only had 5 more games of YYB to get 12. BUT...they "gave" it to me. I am happy I got rank 12, with everything that has been happening at work. I wonder if they knew I was playing when it "shut down"?
Also, this is the highest rank ever for me!

I love all the songs scoobert.  I am almost at rank 19 today and may be able to make all star by the end of today.  IDK I am not to worry about it.  13 has been my best and I only wanted to get to 17 which I did easily.  So, if I make all star, I will be ecstatic, if not, I will still be extremely happy.  Go TM!!!!

thanks for your encouragement.  I KNOW I will do it now though because I am at rank 19 and I haven't played my game yet, SOSD.  I saved it until the end, to get into my zone.  lol.  I have been maxing it out every day, which makes me wonder why we haven't been winning it, lol.  JK.  I have been in a slushie slinger zone too, so that I could save my SOSD til the end.  So, wish me luck.  Off to max out SOSD now.  Congrats to you too.  We really do make a GREAT team.  We push each other to do our best, and that is a good thing.  I wish I didn't miss the first day.  I also wish practice days counted and the AC wasn't 5 days shorter.  We have really done GREAT considering everything going against us.

I did it!  All Star!  Whoo Hoo.  I did it a lot quicker than I thought I would.  I thought I would be up all night to do it.  Last night I realized it was possible if I played ALL DAY today, and that's what I did.  Just think, we made all stars in 22 days for you and 21 for me. I couldn't even do it when we had 30 days and practice days counted.  lol.  I couldn't have done it without you either.  You are my rock.

I know this is old, but SISTA, pulease tell me you weren't risking your christmas Kad on the Turmaculus?  OMG.  Sometimes I do that, go there with a petpet I would never want eaten, just because that is Murphy's law and I want the avatar.  lol

So, posting this AFTER the AC, YYB IS quite time consuming.  First of all, that is pretty impressive that you can Max out YYB in about 2 hrs.  The only game I managed to Max out, for about 8 days straight, (maybe more, as I started toward the end) is SOSD, and that took me a GOOD hour.  I set a goal of 1 rank per day, and was able to make All Star for the first time this year.  I think that is quite an accomplishment too seeing as I missed the first day (my fault) it was 5 days shorter this year, and practice days didn't count.  Just proved to me that it can be done.  Although doing it in the first 5 days, as some people had done, seems a bit obsessive and very unlikely for me.  Back to what I was originally saying, I don't think I could make out YYB in 2,3 or even 4 hours.  Then again, I haven't tried.  At the end, I was playing a LOT of slushie slinger.  Maybe I will try maxing out YYB next year.

Yes, lens flare is nice.  I combine it with my Lenny Lasso and it freezes my opponent for TWO rounds!  Hey, they deserve it, some of them freeze us for 3 or more rounds..  I don't think it is right that they can SPAM the abilities and weapons that are only one time use for us.  Very unfair.  They should have the same advantage/disadvantage as we do.

I cook. A lot.
I don't usually do any actual cooking for lunch, but I do make breakfast and dinner dang near every day. Lunches are usually sandwiches or leftovers that I reheat (not that we have leftovers anymore, but that's another story). Not to blow my own whistle too much, but I am a pretty good cook. I am a decent baker too, but I don't have much time for that anymore :(
Some of my houses favorite dishes are my chicken enchiladas, spinach enchiladas, jambalaya, spinach feta burgers, brie hashbrown casserole, pizza (I make my own dough), and my 'mac and cheese.' I have several other foods that I regularly make as well, but I am trying to perfect each dish before I experiment with a new one.
My husband used to tell me that he liked vegetarian foods, and I thought that it was because he was a cheapskate. No. I have to use super lean beef and really dilute it with vegetables or else it upsets his stomach. He DOES NOT LIKE chicken. Pork is too chewy. Bison is "funky." Bacon is good to give him, but it's bacon, of course it's delicious. Salmon and shrimp are good, but get pretty expensive when you live in the middle of the continent. Alligator and crawdads are good, but I can't find those at all in the small town grocery store. Vegetarian foods it is.
In the vegetable category I have to be careful too. Nobody likes beets, carrots, eggplants, or a few other things. I love spinach, so if you are going to eat in my house, you are going to get spinach. About a month and a half ago I started adding in carrots to everything. I use baby food because I am lazy and don't want to puree them myself twice a day. Carrots are important for ones diet, but I just couldn't cut them up small enough by hand that they could get past unnoticed, so baby food jars it is.
I have been sneaking carrots into everything from brownies to pancakes to rice to mac 'n cheese to cheesy biscuits to guacamole. I was secretly dosing everyone with carrots every single day for about two weeks before I told anyone anything.
They were pretty upset. "That's like feeding cow to a vegetarian! You can't do that!" was my husbands response. :)
