Nicole, as I am sure you are realizing by now, the practice team is actually more difficult than the teams that we face daily.  I don't think there is any change in difficulty from one team to the next really.  However, the formations do change up and some are easier to play against than others.  
 
I am really really happy to see that the caps are lowered this year.  I can get kind of obsessive about tasks like this.  I will probably not be playing make some noise this year.  At all.  It's really not my game.

I slowed down on Yooyuball.  I maxed out on SOSD.  Since Yooyuball is the bonus game today, I am trying to play more games of that.  But mostly, my goal for the day is to max out SOSD again.

Well I'm doing REALLY badly at the moment, as you can tell by my score counter. Not managing to play many games at all :* Right now I'm just hoping to hit Rank 1 before the end >_< I hate the idea of being a dead weight, but if my brain doesn't wanna play then there's not much that I can do about it.
 
The Darigan goalie, at least, isn't like a HOUSE there in front of the goal, so I'll stand a better chance today. :laughingsmiley:

I also probably spent too long playing Neopets yesterday and realistically cannot sustain that much playing.  But I will probably max out SOSD again too because it is quick to play.
 
In terms of the formations, I like to play going to the right.  I also like to play with 3 forwards.  However, I may end up shifting to the 2-2 formation as the 3:1 is more difficult. 

Oh yea! I meant to tell you guys about something kind of funny yesterday that happened.  Around my 10th or so game of Yooyuball, Xana had saved the ball and while attempting to move her out of the center of the goal and to one of the sides with the ball, I accidentally turned her around, and had her throw the ball into the Shenkuu goal.  Oops! Hopefully, I won't be making that mistake again.  But last year, that scenario probably happened 5 or so times.  I was just surprised that it happened so soon after the start this year.

Yesterday, I got to rank 2, 5 rank points away from rank 3.  I am not really sure what my goal for this year is.  My goal is the highest rank I can get while not going crazy.  The optimal fun-rank balance.  Last year, I got to rank 15, but that was a bit too much Yooyuball early on.  

OK, so I had a read, I joined Shenkuu, I tried some practise games, and I just won my first game!  Woohoo!!  Very happy.  The first time I played I thought, "There isn't a snowball's hope in hell that I'm going to be able to contribute any points to my team", but I'm feeling better about it now.

I wish they'd drop the stuff about the goalie's nerves, it's unrealistic to bang on about that every season.

I played a game of yooyuball yesterday, no improvement in my "skills". :laughingsmiley: If I score straight away it's fine, but if the yooyu's taken from me I might as well forget it because I can't get it back. xD

I REALLY like how people get recognition for supporting the same team! Has this always been done?
 
Having said that, this is the second year that I've supported Shenkuu, but I only got the team background.

This is so exciting. I've never had something cool happen to me before. For a second I was like, wait, I don't have a Woodland Pteri Morphing Potion to steal, and then I thought I had something gotten it while restocking as a random event and it was being stolen from me. But then I noticed the beard! I've never heard of this random event before. CoOoOoOoOol!

Avoiding Volcano Run was my primary motivation to joining team snow tbh. 

I've completed everything and got all of my gold check marks.  Edna's Shadow and Itchy Invasion were the most difficult for me.  Ultimate Bullseye and PetPet Cannonball both took a bit of work.  Strangely, I thought that Wicked Wocky Wobble got easier with more things-- perhaps my mouse is too sensitive.   I think Shenkuu Warrior was a challenge game a few years ago with about twice the score required.  It was easy for me this year because of that practice.  Definitely having a real mouse helps for that game.  Good luck to everyone else!
