I have a folder in my bookmarks where I save the pet lookups of all the pets I adopt out.  I like being able to check in on them when I start getting frustrated whenever an adoption falls through.

I got the lab map a while ago and since then have sporadically been trawling the pound for pets to zap and return. I kind of gave up on it after a while though, lost interest I suppose.
 
I started doing it again last week; picked a yellow Usul because the name, Braiket, wasn't something hideous full of numbers and underscores. They changed gender on their 2nd zap, and then to grey on their 3rd so back to the pound they went.
 
I'm not one to check up on previous lab rats, but when I posted the zap in the lab ray thread I pasted the new grey look via their image on Dress to Impress, and when I visited the thread today I saw Braiket all customised!
 

 
So now I'm totally thrilled that someone's got a pet they clearly wanted, and I'm super motivated to keep up with the zapping now :D I REALLY like the look the new owner's gone for! I'm SO glad I posted the image so I got an easy way to see that he'd been adopted, I'd not have known otherwise. :happydance:
 
My new lab rat is a green Yurble

His name's pattappon, I'm hoping he'll turn either Pirate or Maraquan without changing species, especially Maraquan because that looks amazing. Look at this, just how adorable can you get? But I'll be happy with anything interesting.

I was happy to see that everyone on Maraqua's boards were trying to stay positive.  I think that right when people see the scores might be the most dangerous time for morale.  I think it might be a nice idea to have some goofy icebreaker questions to give people something to focus on instead of the scores or drama going on in other boards.

We had one of the cheater groups this year.  No one really knows how long our scores are going to be like this.  I think they're so low as to not be normally mathematically possible, so it isn't just that we're playing badly.  It's a big scandal.  They're talking about it all over the neoboards, but I'd suggest just staying clear.

I did the math for a rejected NT article, and the difference between the amount of time that it takes to get a point in YYB, MSN (submitting as soon as you reach the limit), and SoSD is within a minute per point.  I'm bad at SoSD but good at YYB, so the difference for me is a little over a minute.  If you're good at SoSD, you'll be earning points about as fast as the people that focus on YYB.

I would go with the 1 to 1 trade.  It's a fair and equal trade, and I think that is an easier way to get more valuable items than trying to put something together out of a variety of small ones.  I don't know what the three items you were offered are, but I know I've seen some of the items in your customization on tradelists reasonably often.

I've been hoarding YIPP for quite awhile.  It's finally paid off!  I bought 65 days worth and it's up over 75 per share so I got just over 5 mil (4 mill profit).  I highly recommend the stock market as a long term investment since I started buying YIPP over a year ago every time I noticed it was under 18 per share.

A happy day today! Got my first Fountain dip off of a Grey Faerie quest for a Buzzer! I think I'll use it to finally get the Buzzin' avatar. PLUS I got a Gold Brightvale Job Coupon from the Wheel of Knowledge! 

Last night I earned third place in Feed Florg however the avatar still eludes me. And I got a random fountain faerie quest on my side so I painted my main pet mutant so now I have my dream pet of Mutant Wocky. 

I know I don't get to keep it, but I zapped my petpet and it turned into a brown kadoatie! It started as a Snuffly, then was zapped into a pile of dust, then today was zapped into a kad.  I'm really happy since my lab ray zap was the loss of 2 levels.

It was actually a Grey Faerie so she asked for a Mallard that was 875 NP and then it said I can go for a dip in the Rainbow Fountain   :)
 
Now the hard part is to decide who to paint what...

It was yesterday but I forgot to post about it -- I finally beat Meuka and got his avvie after a couple weeks of training! I'm hoping to keep it up and have the HP to take on the Black Pteri next and knock that one out as well.

I FINALLY got the avvie from the wheel of excitement!  Gave up on it a LONG time ago.  Just randomly spun the wheel at exactly 8:00:30 am this morning.  Not to mention 20,000 nps.  Yeah yeah! :thumbsup:

Finally found someone online often who was willing to sell me an Eventide Hissi morphing potion (for a more than reasonable price to boot)- Tnuq is finally "painted" the color I want her to be, and with that, so are all my pets (well, for now)!

A relatively small achievement, but my battle pet reached level 151 today.  So that's a new tier at the training school and lower codestone costs since now I'll only be putting her in for training once a day instead of twice a day.

I was hoping for first place at Berry Bash, I would of gotten it if the scores were reviewed that day, but oh well, at least I got a trophy. Took me 6 hours of non-stop game play too O.O

Sent a score in this morning that's being reviewed that will put me at the highest #1 spot for Berry Bash and am currently in third place for Chef Academy! Hope to wake up to two nice trophies :D

Knocked down an evil coconut for the first time and got the avatar with it o.o

I just completed a Grey Faerie quest which has given me a free dip in the Rainbow Pool. When it happened, I just stared at the screen in disbelief. I've never gotten this lucky on here before! I know a lot of people use their free dip to change their pet to an unpaintable color like chocolate, but I'm going to finally morph one of my pets into a draik and change his color to maraquan. The maraquan brush is so expensive (for me, at least). I'll finally have my dream pet! Woo!  :happydance:
