So, I've noticed that some people seem to have customized fonts here. Is it possible to do that without having to manually change your font every time you post? Like on the neoboards? :eh:

If so, then how? xD

(Also, sorry if this is in one of the stickies or FAQs, I swear I looked through them before posting, but it is possible I missed it :P)

i still think i u click the button it would just give u the avatar and not take your nps but its their tricky way of getting nps i guess haha

It's a way of decreasing the total number of neopoints in the economy. They're called "sinks." Other examples off the top of my head are Save the Wheels Event, basically all neopet shops (not user owned), and the Lever of Doom.

It's a way to counterbalance the neopoints earned in games and whatnot. Neopoints that go into sinks are destroyed. And the less NPs there are, the more each NP is worth (i.e. inflation and deflation).

So... that's the reason for taking our neopoints xD

i wonder how it was figured out? those clues didn't help haha

This clue in this week's editorial was pretty good:

It gave us the digits (albeit out of order) needed for the correct donation amount :P

Have you been doing quests with less than three items? If so you wont get the avatar that way, it's three item quests only for the avatar :P

I tried for MONTHS and I skipped all quests that were more than two items xD

Another post says it has to be one of your first 7 wishes of the day. "One time donation" confused me, I thought I just had to make that wish :S

You can make any wish, as long as you donate that exact amount.

And it does have to be within your first 7 wishes. Worked for me! ^_^

Those are all good suggestions, but I personally like things the way they are. I've been using TDN dailies page for over a year, and I've grown to love all the little icons.

Any change would confuse me, since I'm so used to the current ones :wub_anim:

Well, I HAD, because I'd found a Christmas Korbat in the pound, and I dressed him up all holiday-like.

But then he zapped 8-bit, and 8-bit is so hard to customize, that's why he's UFT xD

Generally yes. I don't know what this one is, but from past experience, it's usually at least a week. You've got time ;).

I like themed contests, so here would be my ideas:

For Christmas:

• Design and create a neo-related Christmas tree ornament;
  
• Create a holiday feast/menu with neopet items only (can be displayed in a gallery, perhaps?);
  
• Re-write the 12 days of Christmas song with neopets items :P (Ex: And a Meepit in a Dwarf Tree ). Perhaps with hand-drawn illustrations? Can be used for other Christmas carols as well :).
  

Misc:

• Rewrite a fairy tale using neopets as characters;
  
• And last one (idea came from your siggy): Paint an Easter egg à la Neopets :).
  

Can we give more than one contest idea? I have a few :P

You can submit more then one contest idea, and if I choose them both, you win 20k NP, etc.

From previous experience, NC-only freebies are okay to do on sides. However, I'm not 100% sure on this, so probably best to wait for someone who knows what their talking about :P

I've all but given up on that avatar. When I'm a rich billionaire neopian *cough*like that's ever going to happen*cough*, then I'll take out a few hundred thousand and try for it in one go. But for now, I'd rather spend my NPs training my BD pet :)

should get her a red tipped white cane to hold onto, but I don't think they make one.

You could probably do a wicked customization with her though :P

This one I agree is seriously awesome :) I do like Halloween pets but I don't like that you can just take off their costumes :/ I wish they kept all the Hallo pets UC. *sigh*

Since there wasn't a FAQ or anything of the sort, TNT confirmed in the editorial today that you cannot get the avatar from this as you will not be able to wake him up.
