Nah, I love the snow. I just hate the ice afterwards.

Snowstorm buried entire city. Most trains shut down. Most buses delayed. Stores closed down early. Very windy. And I love the snow.

Even though Japan and Egypt aren't in Europe? :P Nah, I know what your talking about.

 

I would visit Egypt as an endurance challenge. If the Amazing Race is still around when I become of age, I would hope that Egypt is one of the places to visit.

 

But the place I want to visit most of all right now is Holland, for rather obvious reasons.

Oh THAT snowfall. Bloomberg cancelled the schools overnight, but it stopped instantly, and in the end there wasn't a lot of snow. Maybe that explains why I don't remember such things. And it was mostly upstate. Central Park was the only area that had a lot of snow. I don't count it as a blizzard since there wasn't a lot of snow where I am (Brooklyn). It was just a normal snowfall for me.

Yay! I'm getting visitors, even though you wouldn't be able to land in NY due to the snowstorm that has shut down all the subway trains, several bus services and lots of stores!

I went to bed at 3 AM last night, but I tend to wake up early regardless. Don't know what happened here....

 

I've only been to a few places (Jersey, Pennsylvania, Buffalo NY, Canada).

Seriously, wow. The number of people getting a laptop or other gifts over $70 scare me o.o I really never, ever had such an expensive gift :P

 

I agree. The most expensive gift I got was about $60 (Assassin's Creed Brotherhood). I don't know the price of the MP3 player, but I'm suspecting $60 as well, if not $70.

 

It turns out that I got dupes of Brotherhood, and my brother got dupes of Epic Yarn. We can return them, and get something else. This means that I'll have $110 to spend (since I also got $50 for the holidays). I might get Black Ops Hardened Edition along with some other game. Haven't decided yet.

 

And my grandmother is waiting on a check so she can get us the remaining gifts we asked for.

 

I also forgot to mention that my brother got binoculars that allow him to take pictures as well as use them as binoculars.

February 2010, dude. Around 20 inches of snow.

 

No. January is the only instance that New York City got snowfall, and that was only about 6 inches. Upstate may have gotten it, but we only had minor notes of sleet from February on.

 

The last blizzard that NY had was in 2004 I believe. If not, then the blizzards following it were really crappy, and don't really catagorize as blizzards.

I woke up at 8, but I kept going in and out of sleep. I finally got out of bed at 1 PM. I'm not a happy camper.

Not in New York. We only had one instance of sleet before this.

 

I like to seperate early 2010 from late 2010. Don't ask why.

 

If you are talking about in early January, I don't really qualify that as blizzards, especially when compared to this. It was normal snowfall.

I'm buried. This is the most snow I've seen in 6 years.

Canadian stereotypes are mostly false. Sure they like maple syrup, but it's not the only thing they eat, like the stereotype says.

Turns out that small snowfall has gotten much heavier, and it could be a blizzard.
