I got curious about what "Clean Flash" is (and how safe it is), so I looked into it, and figured I'd post what I found here, in case anyone else is interested: Apparently Flash is still supported in China, where it can be downloaded from the official Chinese Flash site, and receives one security update per month. However, this download includes an adware program called "Flash Helper", which might contain malware. A developer decided to create the installer (from the Reddit comment), which installs this Chinese, updated version of Flash, without the adware. The code for the installer was available on GitHub. Adobe did not like this at all, and had the code taken down due to copyright infringement. (Source: https://torrentfreak.com/adobe-uses-dmca-to-nuke-project-that-keeps-flash-alive-secure-adware-free-211012/) It appears someone saved the installer and uploaded it to dropbox. The most recent Flash version (as of May 10, 2022) is 34.0.0.242 (as seen in the sidebar on Wikipedia's Flash entry), which is a newer version than the one from the installer, so I'd strongly suggest checking if you receive updates at all, or if this could potentially turn into a security risk for your computer. I guess this does seem to be the ~safest~ way to install Flash at this point in time, but I'd still encourage everybody who wants to try this to be very aware of any potential security risks you might expose your computer to. (And to keep up-to-date on any developments regarding this version of Flash.) My brief gaming spurt yesterday got me two new trophies... You can tell how few people are playing by the fact that I got them so late on in the month!

I had a job that required very, very little effort from me at the time. I'd spent a long time getting all the ducklings in order and by the time last years AC came around, I could essentially doss for four days, work manically for half a day to a day and then sit and doss again. And all my reports looked like I'd worked hard all week! This meant that I got all my YYB and a lot of MSN/SOSD done in the working day. I then had absolutely no life. My poor husband was counting down the days by the end of the Cup as I'd sit all evening and play either SOSD or SS on my phone as those were the two games that worked on my phone. We did go on holiday for a long weekend which screwed me over slightly as there was no way I could sit in a hotel room and play AC. So for those days I just tried to max SOSD in the evening so I didn't get too far behind. So essentially, I was putting in anywhere between 8-12 hours I suspect with brief spurts of working, eating and then sleeping! It got me Double All-Star... and very sore fingers! I'm not sure what this year will bring. I have a new job which actually requires me to work most of the time. And if it goes manic it requires me to work ALL of the time! I'm hoping to be able to get All-Star at lease. If I can max YYB every day and put some time into SOSD in the evening, I should get there. I don't think Double All-Star is a runner though!
