That would make sense! I was rather baffled as I could understand accidentally pricing it at 7000np for example, but that seemed such a random number!! And yep, I'll have made someone's day today. I hope they get a paint brush!

I don't even actually own my mutant pet yet but I am chuffed beyond belief with my Chains are a Mutants BFF so I really don't care! And as it turns out, people are actually really accepting of you not knowing what basic things mean and asking what are probably really stupid questions.

Yep, sorry, I don't have any of those items! I have the Premium Collectible: Glowing Contacts and the Sunfire Contacts, but they wouldn't work as well! The retired item capsules seem to be more popular than the other kinds from my limited experience. I know what you mean about dropping a fortune on customisations. Half the backgrounds I've got my eyes on are 500-600k each!! I kind of had the thought that the draik had escaped from being chained in slavery and made a hide out at the forgotten oasis!!

My side account is the better part of ten years old and yet has never had a gallery before. With this years prizes and a short if expensive shopping spree... that has now changed!

I'm hoping for a FFQ where I'll then leap and purchase a draik egg. I was tossing up a mutant lutari or draik, but the maraquan lutari is so pretty, I think I'm sold on that idea!! What items are you after? It's highly unlikely that I have them, but I'm happy to look! You do have to remember to keep bumping your post on the neoboards as there are so many posts being created and bumped that it quickly gets lost to the second page! But yes, the individual was really helpful and quickly explained when it was clear I didn't have a clue what he was talking about! This is my final plan: I now have everything except the dress and the collar for the NC items. Both are going to take some work to get as the dress is rare and valued at 2-3 caps and the collar seems less rare but is valued at 8 caps!! HAH!

congratulations! that is a really cool looking item. which mutant pet are you going for? and its comforting to hear that everyone was so nice! im going to have to venture forth into the nc board at some point, because there are three or four nc items that i want. and i cant understand half of whats written on most people's openneo wishlists.

yeah, retired items tend to be either dirt cheap or super expensive, there's rarely any in-between. that is a great gallery idea! and if you're open to adding the reverse (items in the books category that aren't actually books), i did see Sophies Leave Me Alone Notice while i was looking for names earlier today.

Barnacles would have been a lovely touch to the pet!! I think the pet as a whole looks a little too neat to be a true relic - there's very few cracks or flaws in the design which makes it look like sculpted stone rather than a long lost relic.

yeah, the base is what turns me off of the relic colour entirely. it would have been cool if they had made the bases a removable customization item. barnacles, too!

I didn`t realize the form of the base was a wave, I thought it was a shell. I really appreciate that the base is so small, on many Relic pets it`s quite big and I feel it gets in the way. The fact that they made the base suit the aquatic theme is a nice touch, and I like the shading on the Flotsam (it looks lighter than most other Relics) and the little cracks here and there. That said, more detail could definitely have been added, especially if you look at the Relic Jetsam and Koi, they`re both covered in moss (or some kind of seaplant, idk) and some seawweed or something on the base would have really spruced this pet up in my opinion. The outfit is fine, always nice to see male clothing, and the little hat is super cute! I know what you mean about the trousers having two legs - when the pet in question have fins, not legs - they do the same with clothes for Peophin and Tuskaninny too, even though they don`t have two legs and so the piece of clothing looks completely different when you put it on.

I had an idea very quickly, so I sent in my entry shortly after this thread was updated, lol! Looking forward to seeing what people do with this topic, we`re bound to be in for a laugh!

Can Neopets stop with this? This isn't the first time i've had my expensive items, particularly EVERLASTING APPLES, taken for no good reason. That's why i don't carry anything anymore. I had just taken my Everlasting Apple out of storage so i could feed my pets and THEY TOOK IT AGAIN!!! WHILE I WAS JUST IN THE MIDDLE OF FEEDING MY PETS!!! UGH.
