When did this all change? Only the crafting faerie quests have NC items. You get a NC item reward. The regular faeries still give pet stat boosts for np items. Just go to faerieland and reject the quest. Make sure you go back after the 10 minute waiting period and you'll be all good to go to wait for the fountain faerie!
