Tuskaninny Avatar Question

So today I adopted a tuskaninny in hopes of attaining the spotted tuskaninny avatar. I have been feeding her several items with the word "spotted" in the name, but have had no luck. I was wondering if anybody here knew if this avatar can be attained with adopted pets? Or must the pet be newly created by the user in order for this to work?

View the pet lookup of your own Tuskaninny while having in your inventory a food whose name contains the word "spotted," such as a Lesser Spotted Fish.

 

So you don't need to feed the item to your pet just have it in your inventory and view your lookup.

According to TDN, to get the avatar, you "View the pet lookup of your own Tuskaninny while having in your inventory a food whose name contains the word "spotted," such as a Lesser Spotted Fish." So, yes, an adopted Tuskaninny, is fine/will work, but instead of feeding your Tuskaninny an item with the word "spotted" in it, keep it in your inventory and, then, view your Tuskaninny's pet lookup. It should work, then.

I'm glad you asked this because I have a Tuskaninny on one of my sides, but I had forgotten about that spotted avatar for some reason. Now I know what to do and I can get the avatar on my side, then transfer her and get it on my main as well =)

Oh. HAH! Apparently I forgot how to read. :rolleyes_anim: I even double checked the avatar solutions and somehow missed that obvious detail LOL. Thanks guys *sigh*
