queen_hatshepset Posted November 15, 2015 Share Posted November 15, 2015 I have a Mutant Moehog, a cloud painted Xweetok, and a Yellow Koi.... which character should I give the Desert Hissi Morphing Potion too? I'm leaning towards the Moehog or the Koi because I am having a hard time with customization items for them. The Mutant I can hardly find anything for it to wear and the Koi I want backgrounds that I could never afford. The Xweetok is pretty the way she is but I've really wanted a Hissi and a Desert themed pet! Any thoughts or advice? Scoobert_Doo Posted November 15, 2015 Share Posted November 15, 2015 That is a tough decision, as it comes down to personal preference. I like what you have done with both of them. I don't customize my pet much, so my "recommendations" may not be good. I'm hoping some of the TDN "customizers" will post. But, practically speaking, if you like to customize but cannot find much for your Mutant Moehog, then I would say use the potion on him. If you do not have much NP or are afraid spending too much NP or NC, then use the potion on your Koi. Again, as I don't customize much, it seems your Koi still has more customizing options, than the Moehog, so if dressing your Neopets up is what you like to, then I would use the potion on him. queen_hatshepset Posted November 15, 2015 Author Share Posted November 15, 2015 Thank you for your advice. It's so hard to choose! My Ruki I'm so keeping because I've had her from the very beginning. All the others were adopted pets and so I am not as attached to them as I am to her. I love to customize each pet. However, I don't think I'm very good at it yet; but it is something I have grown to enjoy. I just went on a np spree with backgrounds and clothes earlier today to get ready for the holidays. Mouseykins Posted November 15, 2015 Share Posted November 15, 2015 I would probably suggest your Mutant Moehog. Mutant pets are so hard to customize and most of the clothing available to them is NC, and probably trades for a high value. It may help with your decision to see what is available for all of the pets you are thinking about - Moehog, Koi, and Hissi. Also, TDN is starting a new competition called "The Runway", with info located here: http://www.tdnforums.com/index.php?/topic/45713-the-runway/. You use the site "Dress To Impress" to create looks for your pets and other TDNers vote. I am very interested in looking into that and seeing about entering for the competition thank you for that information! I think I'm leaning on using the potion on the Moehog but I am still hesitant. I figured if anything I should sleep on it and see what my decision will be tomorrow. There is no undo button when it comes to this kind of decision lol. I think I'd go with the majority on this one though and use the potion on your moehog. I didn't think that until I actually visited your page and saw your koi -- I think you'd have a lot more variety customizing her. Also - I had no idea that's what cloud xweetoks were like... It looks like the Moehog will be changed to a Hissi!!! However, I entered him into the Dress to Impress theme for the Trick-or-Treat aftermath so after that competition is over I'll use the morphing potion on him. As for my Cloud Xweetok I love that color on her. I adopted her from the pound like that and I didn't want to change her coloring. Oh hon, if you go with Orange just get her a morphing potion. It may seem redundant to morph a Koi into a Koi, but Orange Koi Morphing Potions are dirt cheap. geoterza Posted November 16, 2015 Share Posted November 16, 2015 Also...if you decide later that you want a mutant moehog again, there are 11 mutant moehogs I can see on just the first page of the Lost and Pound list for Moehogs. (I think I can mention that site here?) That's where I got mine from and there were plenty of mutant moehogs to choose from then too. So I think you'd be good to get another one later if you're like me and keep changing your mind about your pets.
