Battledome Equipment Types

Recommended Posts

I've done a lot of reading about battledome items lately, but I haven't found an answer to my specific question anywhere:

How many of each type of weapon category can you have?

I've heard that you can have only one healer, but what about stealers, shields, dual duty weapons, reflectors, and all the other types?

Thanks!

As far as I know, you can have 1 healer, 1 freezer, 1 stealer, 1 reflector

No limit for: shields, dual duty or normal weapons.

It's usually stated at the weapon info. Example. The "Limit One." means you can only have one of this kind of weapon.

We typically recommend a set to have 2-3 attack weapons (1-2 of which can be a dual duty), 1-2 shields, 1 healer, 1 freezer, and 1 stealer. Some battlers choose also to use reflectors, rotating them out depending on which icon type their opponent deals the most.

I haven't done it in a long while, but if you try to equip more than 1 of the limit-1 items, you should get a message telling you that you can only equip one of (whatever) kind of weapon at a time. Whether there's a new message with the new BD equipment area or not, you'll know if you can't equip more than 1 because it won't equip. Or, just check TDN's battlepedia, limited items like healers and freezers, have this icon next to the icon of the item. equip_one.gif Hope this helps!

You should have:

2 dmg items (multiple use)

2 shields

1 freezer

1 healer

1 bomb (ex. g-bomb, honey pot etc)

1 xxx (can be shield/dmg, this is preferably a backup item for situational purposes, a duality item such as MoC or HCC could be useful here; Reflectors are so decent but you must know opponents weapons not very useful in 2p but in 1p handy)

I don't recommend stealers as they steal random items and can be very unpredictable in 2p.
