But it is an option for me and I was part of the awakened this time.

 

Is it a mistake or does it usually not apply to other factions?

I found it weird too, The boons seem to have gone random, or something. That's actually kinda frustrating, I'd been choosing the factions by their boons.

Or maybe it was just a glitch...

That's. . . really weird. Our past information says That Millionaire Feeling was not a Awakened prize, and way only awarded to The Sway. Or either they've decided to randomize it (boo!) or something's messed up.

If you don't mind me asking, can you tell me which five boons you got to choose between? (I was Brutes this round.)

Nora I was also awakened this time and I had:

Right Round Round Round, Doppelganger, LOL Avvies, Bank Bribery and That Millionaire Feeling.

 

I was hoping to get the book boon this time, so this is a bit weird.

I thought it was strange too, I even took a screenshot before picking a boon. If it's not a glitch then for sure it's been randomized. LOL avies was thieves only (obviously)

I wonder what happened. Maybe we should keep an eye out for an official TNT topic on the boards or an explanation in the news today. (And check the next editorial, I'm sure people will submit this.)

Not random for each player but random for each round. So they would just pick random boons from all the boons available, no matter what faction won that round, but everyone that won would get the same (picked) boons.

No, only the Awakened boons are random, each time they win. The other factions' boons are all set in stone, but the Awakened have no boons of their own.

OK, well the guide is now updated showing the Awakened's actual boons for this round. I'll poke around and see what information I can dig up about it.

 

@siniri - I don't think they've ever been random in the past?

I planned on using Bank Bribery. It may only get me a few more NP but eh, why not? I've tried the wheel one and ended up spending too many NP on the Extravagance Wheel. It was upsetting.

I was Awakened and got the same as the people on here! Although I was wanting the book boon :P It doesn't matter, if everyone's won Awakened now we should all try and get a different avatar

When I go to the boons page and it shows me my chosen boon, it's not there! Now it shows me the boons that were originally listed on the TDN page: refreshed request, books, etc. Is this happening to anyone else?

It's not happening to me. I still see the LOL avies and the others faded and the one I picked not faded. The boon is also working for me.
