leverhelven Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 Wooow!!! Hong Kong, you started out pretty nicely!! Hope you have lots of fun! I never travelled abroad, so I envy you! :) Quote
Naamah D. Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 That's very exciting! Getting to enjoy another culture sounds like fun. Take a camera if you can and enjoy some authentic Asian food. That's what I would do if I went to China. Hong Kong is in China, am I correct? Quote
blueberrykiwi141 Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 My mom went to China (Hong Kong and other areas) She had a blast. enjoy your trip! Quote
BEE. Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 Awesome! I'd love to visit Hong Kong :D I've only been out of the UK once and that was over 10 years ago ): Hopefully I'll make it to NYC for my 21st next year! Quote
zaciel Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 Good luck for your trip & enjoy the food there! My friends loved DisneylandHK (you should try the adorable disneyland dim sum)! Quote
Zephyr Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 Whooo nice! Pack me along! :D Lots of good food there (One of their old tag lines to promote tourism is 买东西、吃东西, meaning it's a shopping & food paradise). Hope you have a memorable trip :) Quote
Shiny Vulpix Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 -shivers- Huh,- Oh! Sorry! I'm Korean, but I'm sure you will have a good time at Hong Kong, -acts sarcastically- just be sure to watch for guards.... XD Quote
wakka9ca Posted October 19, 2013 Posted October 19, 2013 -shivers- Huh,- Oh! Sorry! I'm Korean, but I'm sure you will have a good time at Hong Kong, -acts sarcastically- just be sure to watch for guards.... XD Don't worry, HK is very liberal compared to rest of China. You can actually demonstrate there because they have different laws. China is surprisingly liberal as long as you don't blatantly start yelling and waving Free Tibet flag... Quote
xkittyxxx Posted October 19, 2013 Author Posted October 19, 2013 Yeah, I'm super excited! I didn't even know they had a disneyland there... O_O I haven't even really looked at their laws and stuff like that... Might want to do that before I go ;) I can't wait to try their food! *_* Quote
1_groovychick Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 How exciting! I have never been abroad. I've been to 18 states and 7 provinces, but never overseas. Quote
