Filled it up.

Honestly? It's getting boring already. Time for TNT to make a twist or something. Even new challengers would be nice.

Did 100-something the last time because I'm bored.

mm I tend to agree that it has got dull quite quickly, I think it needs a new twist or the ability to see how your fights add up

I have no idea if its best to go for the hardest opponent I can on the lower hp setting or the easiest and do lots of fights

It would be so nice to see how it is actually worked out, is it a percentage thing, is it the most points as in one point per fight etc

I also often wonder was it close? Did seekers almost win etc how many points did each faction get

At the moment its just hitting blind and being told, ok you missed lol

I don't think it's very entertaining. I take part in it just for the avatars (which I haven't been very lucky with). Once I get them all, I won't be very interested in taking part in the skirmishes.

A bit more info would be nice and some new prizes instead of ugga dome regulars would be greatly appreciated but I just play in the hope of some nice boons, hoping to get that last avatar and to help friends get the avatar they need. I won't play endlessly but just do the daily battles against them instead of in the water dome.

It's around 100 battles every time, so not really bandwagoning but not an extreme overpowering help either.

I'm bored with them now. I was lucky enough to pick the right factions to get each avatar the first time it was released, so I've just been participating enough to get a boon if the faction I pick wins for awhile now. Even that isn't very worthwhile anymore now, as I only really like maybe 2 or 3 of the boons. I think I dislength the length of them, having to wait two weeks to see if you win a mediocre boon.

I still do my daily fighting in the Space Dome as I agree the Ugga Dome prizes are getting old, then I switch over to put in a few more battles against the actual skirmish challengers if I have the time.

On the one hand, I really appreciate that TNT is trying to get people to stay interested in the BD between wars and plots, so I'm sort of glad that this exists. On the other hand, the actual skirmishes just aren't fun. Because we don't know how exactly these are scored and don't see how the factions are doing against one another during the fighting, it's hard to decide who to fight and how much to play. Since the opponents (and with them, their weapon sets and strength/HP) don't change, there's no challenge beyond how much mindless battling you can endure. If you can beat the faction leaders on the hardest level, there's nothing more to strive for. It just comes down to playing as much as you can stand, and crossing your fingers that you chose the right faction. I'm also not a big fan, in general, of team-based events, where all-star groups basically determine the outcomes. I hope that TNT has plans to shake things up, eventually. The fact that it awards avatars and site themes may have handcuffed them a bit, though, since people who don't have all of them will be disappointed if they retire.

I know it's probably starting to get boring, but you can always stop participating you know. I'll probably stop after I'm bored of it myself, right now I am trying to get all the themes. Still have 2 left to go, then I'll keep participating for the boons.

Typically, I battle the weakest opponents from each faction about 50 times before I call it quits for that round.

Right now, I'm only doing it for the avatars/site themes, but once I get all of them, I'll start doing it for the boons. I really, really like the Stock boon, so as long at they keep that, I'll keep doing enough to win.

It hasn't really encouraged me to train my battler, though...

My computer was out of commission for around two months this summer, so I still have two more avatars to get. I do think I'll probably like it less as it gets more predictable.

While I don't necessarily train for it, I do think the skirmishes keep me from slacking in my training. Since Defenders of Neopia isn't working, it's hard for me to see that as a goal to work towards. Each day, I at least fight the easy opponents seven times at the minimum. I still fight my usual opponent for the prizes, but I'll fight the easy ones for np. Most of the time I fight more than that. I usually fight some of the harder opponents two or three times, while fighting easy opponents in between to heal.
