It's weird because I'm both happy and sad about the cup's length. I'm glad it's short because that way there's going to be less burnout by the time the finals roll around, but I'm sad because I've gotten a summer job and I might not be able to play as much as I want to, and a shorter tournament will mean a lot less days to rack up gameplay. It's an interesting situation to say the least.

This is my first AC, so I think I'm kind of happy about the shortness of it? I don't want to be overwhelmed!

Though, with my horribly long work days, I don't know how much I will actually be able to play.

I have a similar problem as I still have class to at least mid-June. Which means for the majority of the Cup, I will have homework I'll need to do which will get in the way of the games. True, I've had this problem always since school where I live does not get out until mid-June (Pacific Northwest just did not abide by the new law I guess), but now I get less time!

24 days seems better to me :) Maybe this time I may find the will to get to All-Star XP

A ton of people wanted a shorter AC/the DRR format scrapped. And I think the length is perfect. Not too long that people will get bored of the AC, but not too short, so there still will be plenty of action.

Ugh, that sucks. :( Maybe use the AC as an incentive? Write an essay, play for an hour or whatever. x3

Wasn't it always 24 days? You faced each opposing team twice for a total of 18 days in the DRR, then there were about 4 days of play in the final brackets...so 22?

Edit: Pfft....I was totally doing the math wrong. Two rounds, a team facing the 17 other teams for 34, and then the four playoff days for 38.

Seeing as I will definitely be maxing out, I think 24 is enough for me. Unlike other years I actually have time this year to commit enough time to playing.

They might lower the cap needed for All-Star since there are less days though.

I would at least like 30 days since the altador cup is only on once a year.

I think if they're going to shorten it, shorten it to just June. 30 days of play, once a year.
