For speculating on the Phantom Menace achievement, I suspect that is has something to do with all of the enemies like the 6 up 6 down. The little gray picture in the Incomplete Deed looks like it has 6 enemies, but there are only 3 released. So it might have something to do with 6 enemies. :yes:

 

Then again, it might not.

Yup, I got the Medium Rare Achievement using the MechaBerry Bomb too, so it isn't necessarily just the Trumpet of Blasting! Maybe anything 45+?

I dont think it is 45+ because I used higher weapons and they didnt work for the achievement. Maybe it is 45-50?

Got the last two achievements, really use to just defend with no weapons for two turns, then blast them away. XD

I used Sword of Domar for the Medium Rare achievement. :) I forget how expensive it is. I've had it on my Lupe forever.

 

I got the "It's a Magic Number" as well. I just want to point out you can draw by dual knockouts and still get the achievement. That's how I got it. :)

yep that it is but its kind of lame it deals 6 icons (I think) and it will either damage your opponent or yourself or do nothing so pretty useless. I hope the prizes get better, they've been lame except for the books, free books are always nice.

Wow, capped the first two, but the Shadow Phantom Commander is wiping the floor with my pet. I'm incredibly scared about what some of the other ones are going to be like...cause you know there are going to be higher ones up than the commanders. I can't believe they expect us to beat 30 of these things!!! Uhhh...and I'm having some major lagging issues. I'm almost considering buying a G-bomb...but I'm not a BDer and I really don't want to waste the points...I've been saving up, hoping to have enough collat for a BGC for the avvie, though I'm no where near getting that yet. I've only beaten like, 6, of these commander guys, there's no way I'm even coming close to 30. *sighs*

Hi guys, I just signed up an account though I've been lurking for a long time.

 

Found out that we can loan things from others but need a collat or something? It'd be good if someone can pm me and fill me in about that. I know nuts about it. :(

 

I need to loan a ylanas blaster or some other better weapons cause mine is impossible to beat the commander or cap the destroyer:/

 

This is the stats of my best pet

 

Lvl : 46

Str : 78

Def : 78

Mov : 51

Hp : 103 / 103

 

Weapons I use : Scarab Ring, Golden Compass, Downsize!!, Stone Club, Scuzzy's Comb, Greater Healing Scroll, Purple Sticky Hand, Thick Smoke Bomb.

Faerie Abilities : Drain Life, Burrow, Sink & Regeneration

 

Can someone tell me if there're other ways to beat the commander? Thick Smoke Bombs are draining out my bank account :(

Something that helps for the Commanders by the way: stealing items! If you manage to do it in the first turns you will get Thyoras tear, which nullifies all damages during the turn it's used! I'm so glad I had a purple sticky hand collecting dust in my SDB... :whistle:

That's exactly what I've been doing! Not only do you get a temporary free Thyora's Tear but you also keep the Commanders from using it over and over and over again during the same battle. There's nothing more frustrating than seeing 2 or 3 attacks on a row do 0 damage :angry:
