It's Xepha, with a X. Thank you.
I still believe Neopets was their one success that we can't refute. And I believe that they know that very well. Why? Because when they launched Meteor Games, they reached to Neopets fansites first. They were hoping that since they were the creators of a game that people still played and liked, a bunch of people would follow them. And surely people did. Now that they are working on a new project, a new game, what do they do again? A Neopets ask me session. They don't try to reach to those who played Twin Skies or Vikings, Pirates, Ninjas or Island Paradise.
Just clicked the link to their new game. We did game prototypes in my game design class that were far more interesting and original. Even in early alpha stage.
Am I going to bother with following their career as game designers / game studio now? Nope. Because I don't trust them. I thought other people should know that before they fall in love with a product that won't last.

Sure I can talk about it.
They tried to launch many titles under their company Meteor Games (that went bankrupt in 2012). After so many fails, we should have known better but to follow them on Facebook. But we still did. They had that really popular game called mIsland Paradise in which you could spend real money. Updates in that game pretty much ceased at the end of 2011 when 90% of their staff was layed off. Island Paradise remained online though for another 6 months during which Donna posted on their forums not to listen to rumours that their studio was in a very bad situation. People kept spending their money until the day the game just disappeared without a word from Meteor Games about it. Sure it was not the smartest thing to do on their part. But if Donna had been clear about how the game was not going to be continued, I'm sure at least some people would have save their dollars for something else.

Adam and Donna are only trying to reach their Neopets fanbase so they can launch a new game.
I would like to take this the opportunity to warn everyone. They have disappointed and scammed players before. Do not get involved in their new project.

The Neomail you receive will look like this after they review your score.
Hi (name),
Your score of 115,258 in Wrath of the Snowager has been reviewed and accepted.
You have been awarded 1,000 neopoints. If you qualified for an avatar, that has also been awarded. -
Going with Krawk Island again. Pirates FTW!!
You should be able to go here to choose a team.
I can't remember what you get, but I think you get some extra items than the losing team. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
You are wrong.
Everyone gains access to a prize shop, where all the prizes and required points are the same.
The only difference is the trophy on your userlookup.

All proud team Maraqua supporters!
Antidepresseur: Helping with TDN news coverage. (He is totally biased for Maraqua though.)
Jubbie: Cheering from under the sea.
Kaihrou: Was allowed to visit the stadium after a Yooyuball practice and have the chance to meet the team.
Sir_Gemely: Maraqua's team coach. Don't get fooled by his chubby look, he is tough on the team.
Vettetra: Cheering for her favorite team from the lagoon. Also searching for any clues that would help to find Dorina Hals.

The prizes shop is identical for winners and losers. But honestly, anyone who plays a couple of games is already a winner in my heart.
Things to know about the Altador Cup:
It's not 3 games like Angelo said, but FOUR : Yooyuball, Slushie Slinger, Make Some Noise and Shoutout Showdown.
You can play them above the "send 3 scores for NP" limit. (301 YYB, 301 SS, 1201 MSN and 1201 SoSD)
And really if you want to get good prizes, you should play as much as you can, and it takes about 2 hours a day of play time to reach the All-Star rank in the end.
It's more fun to play when you hang out and make friends on your team. They will help you to stay motivated.
I'm just going to stress again that this tournament is about grinding. The repetivity of it takes out most of the fun.
That being said, good luck everyone. And GO MARAQUA!

Until we find a BGC to buy at a non inflated price, we will finalise all the details about lending requirements and be able to let you all know.
Yes we are still checking this board / answering questions. We just haven't thought over every single detail. The last time we had a BGC for lend, someone ended up feeding it to their pet by mistake. We want to avoid this situation to happen again.

You are supposed to do it in the tiny window. What I usually did was to refresh (ctrl r / cmd r) for a couple minutes and check if I have the avatars. If not, start refreshing again.
-
Good luck Brian! I have faith in you. :D
It's all coming along very nicely.
-
You can try to TAB until you are on the button and then ENTER.

Brian - I heard that you have a new sequence to show to everyone ;)

When I got it (years ago) I put the item as followed in my inventory:

And I refreshed a lot until it worked.
