@lojoco49 I took a look at the JN guide, and it looks like the instructions for each area, including who you need to speak with, are in the yellow/brown box right under the map. I can see how you might miss the important parts. They're not super explicit, at least the first few I looked at. For example, here's the one from Trestin:

I just finished NQII yesterday in normal mode. I used the JN guide the whole way through, and it WILL tell you if there is someone you need to specifically talk to. On occasion, there will also be whole areas you can skip. None of this will effect you earning the trophy. The thing to be aware of, however, that wasn't made particularly clear in the guide - are the rest stops. If your characters are not in need of a rest to top off their health meters, or if you're just trying to save money, think again. Those rest stops are also save points of a sort. If you were to 'die', you'll start again at the last rest stop you visited. Thankfully this never happened to me, but I didn't even realize it until I was over two-thirds of the way through the game. Thanks @kayahtik yes I'm following the jellyneo guide. It doesn't seem to specifically say I NEED to talk to a certain person so do I just ascertain that myself by scanning the conversations to see? For instance picking up Mipsy and visiting the guy who gives a password etc? Sorry I'm such a noob in this area of neopets, previously only played the flashgames.
Haha, I'm glad it's not just me @jellysundae, I already feel like I'm going insane with the sheer length of this thing! 

@lojoco49 No, it's not necessary to talk to all of them! There are only a few that give you important information. Are you following a guide? It should tell you who you need to talk to, and you can skip all the rest. 

I'm using the JN guide and I definitely only talk to the people it says I need to to gain something or forward the plot.
I think I'd go insane if I talked to everyone D:<

Since my last post, I've gotten the seasonal Sloth avatars, Wheel of Excitement, and Turmaculus. Randoms make my goal of 320 by twelve months a bit less daunting, but I've been really lazy with games and restocking, so I haven't actually gotten anything else, haha.

I know, right? It really doesn't seem fair for those who have only started battling since this plot began and have been struggling and training hard all the way through just to beat the Wraiths on easy 

Oh gosh... Defeating a Wraith on hard?! They really stepped up the hardness of the plot. The Hulking Wraith was already proving to be very hard to beat for some players... I better step up my training on my Neopets...

But isn't it possible that the "One of (Every) Kind" achievement might be given after the Hulking Wraith Skeith is in the infirmary and you go through the appropriate steps for healing him?
