Hey all, I know this is going to be a weird way to introduce myself, but I just now put my snow techo, Tricks912 (I didn't name him, he's an adopt) in the pound. I hated to do it, (The pound guilt trips you HARD. >_>; ) but since I rarely use any pets but my main one, a spotted techo (hopefully mutant in the future) I'd put him up. Also considering putting up my mutant grarrl...
 
Anyways past that, hi! I'm kind of bad at introducing myself... Uhh... I think I joined Neopets in the mid 2000s? Back when a lot of the stuff was still sort of hand-drawn looking, but after all the weird Macy Gray and whatnot. I played for a few years, then sort of dropped off when school started getting difficult, then just a couple of years ago finally came back. This is my second account, I sadly don't remember the username or password for my original and the e-mail account it was tied to is long, long gone. 
 
Outside of Neopets, I'm into Pokemon, cars, video games, collecting and studying old computers... Uhh... Really that's all I can think of. Anyways, hi and whatnot!

I hope I'm in the right place for this, if not, I apologize.
 
I was playing a game and went to check my profile page to see if the game counted and I had a Captcha box that I had to check to be sure I wasn't a robot. I checked the box and a series of pictures popped up asking me to click how many of the pics had water in them, I clicked those particular pics, was told I'm not a robot and then brought to my page.  
 
Did I miss a topic or an article/editorial in the Nat'l Neopian on this?

I was also thinking they could end the Obelisk war with everyone turning their weapons.

I was thinking grooming with something else like food.  The General store stock food, clothing, books, toy, and... grooming.

I think that next that evil granny will be going after the food supply, making affordable food impossible to find.

I also theorize she takes the items for herself, since no "poor neopians" seem to be given the sthings.

So they've done toys, and then school supplies/books/wearables... What do you think will be asked for next time? I'm guessing maybe a food drive?

Food drive might be interesting, I think that it would be cool to do a music awareness one or a drive for a band camp. It'd be awesome to do that. Or maybe summer items for summertime :D

Hi guys. I just want to write this post because for the first time in a long time I am beginning to feel at peace. Guys, if you are feeling in a rut with life and it seems as if you will NEVER get out of it, please just listen to this:

Life is all about ups and downs (this took me so long to even begin to come to terms with) and life will never be perfect. But you can learn to change your mindset and cultivate a peaceful mind by taking time for yourself... slowing down and seriously pushing yourself to go on walks, meditate, at least once a day.

I promise sometimes the best medicine in life is talking with a dear friend, reflecting upon what you are thankful for, walking in the park, eating healthy, and taking care of yourself. This do not mean giving up on your goals and losing your drive for success.

Personally, I went through a battle with depression last semester in school and hit a complete wall and burned out. Now, I am really analyzing how to improve the situation and by recharging my mind, I am able to see the bigger picture in life.

It is a long process to improving mental health, but I promise no one is perfect and I still stumble many times along the way. But learning to embrace the crappier parts of life can really help you through. Stop getting worked up about the little things! Spilled coffee on your new white pants? It is OK. Yes, it may suck in the moment, but surely you will forget about this within a week's time. Going through a heartbreak? This will take a lot of healing time, but you must accept this. It is ok to wallow for a bit in your sorrows, but please get outside and begin to do something about it. Even if you take ONE step towards this mentality, practicing whenever you can will slowly lead to big results! Spilled that coffee on your white pants and still beating yourself up about? Say to yourself...It will be ok. Even if you do not believe this in the moment, eventually your thoughts will change and you WILL believe.

Similarly, for the longest time I would spend money (excessively) on pointless things, and was completely caught up in consumerism. It is hard not to be, especially as a fashion design student. I would mentally beat myself up for hours after making an unnecessary purchase. Now, I am implementing slow but steady changes. For example, buying groceries and making meals at home, making a budget. And I realize now that you can seriously live off a very minimal amount of clothing. Even if you love fashion, you can own a few, chic, nicely made pieces and mix and match according to your personal style. You will feel like your sense of fashion is even BETTER because you won't find yourself overwhelmed with outfit choices. Although it is important to try to stick within a budget, don't beat yourself up for sometimes breaking it. Life is about learning. You can't get back the money, but you CAN improve.

For me, these are really big steps. And often times I overlook the great leaps I have already taken. Every once in awhile, look back, reflect, and praise yourself because you are slowly but surely improving! My next goal is to work towards lessening time consumed by social media and celebrity culture. Now, I am going to library and trying to fill any extra time I have by reading rather than scrolling through social media. Yes, I blunder many times a week (even day) but any start is better than never even trying.

P.s...I'm also going to be doing a sale of my old clothing soon if anybody will like to order some things, I can ship them off :) Help with recycling clothing rather than partaking in fast fashion!

Whoever drew these: you have done a fantastic job. This is the type of quality we are used to seeing and hope to see more of in the future.
 
Absolutely adore both of these!

I'm a little tempted to leave Neopets because the art is getting sucky... and that's saying a lot.
 
At times, I can't see anything wrong with some of the new art. (Excluding that glowing shirt - what were they thinking??) But
 
I mean look at the new Dimensional pets... despite the fact that I think the Dimensional color can be a little subjective,
 
     I believe this was pre-Jumpstart, as a point of reference. 
 
Where's the glow?
I know Dimensional is supposed to be a little hard on the eyes, but... what happened to the outline?  
I kind of feel like they just inverted the colors and did some changes...
 
 
Kudos to TNT for re-drawing the Transparent Peophin. Now please bring back the old artists... Or hire fans who can do the job better...

What I really want to know is if you can attach a petpetpet to it. idk the going rates for them though so I haven't bought one to try.
 
EDIT: I bought a cheap petpetpet and it did attach to my comb. 

Oh! I like that shoyru outfit! I think it absolutely does look elderly, it's just that not many elderly people do/can still dress like that. There's not many out there who have the funds to dress in suits and so on no matter how much they'd like to. Or, they're just not the same shape any more so the quality (and now vintage) wool suits that they've had for years and years no longer fit them.
 
There was an old man in the town where I live who always wore a suit. He was an air force vet (a war hero, actually) so his pension probably enabled him to buy new suits!  He generally wore a dark blue one which looked fabulous against his full head of silver hair, often with a pale yellow tie and matching handkerchief in the pocket, and a pink carnation in his buttonhole. He cut quite a dash!
