My last un-customised pet Corchion needs to be made pretty and I was hoping you lovely people could help me out. :D 
 
His name means raven so he's going to be painted shadow but I'm finding pteris near impossible to customised. Then "why is a raven like a writing desk?" popped into my head and it's just a perfect theme for him.

It's just a bit empty but I can't find any foreground items that I like which don't remove the desk so could anybody help?

I just got the Chocolate! avatar!  :rock: I've been trying for it on and off for quite awhile, but I decided to try the Black Market Goods boon to see if it would help me get the avatar easier.  It worked!  (Or maybe it's because it's 2:00 in the morning that I got it.)

In the past it only took about 24-48 hours.
(Mind you the last time I'm aware of was pre-jumpstart)
 
I'm curious how long most people are waiting.

I'm talking specifically about "Score submitted for review" times. Not when people received trophies after getting a highscore.

I'd suggest having different themes for your side account(s) then your main. Having different themes helps minimize the confusion and the "oops I forgot I was logged into my side account". I use the same theme on both my sides and I also use a different browser as well so I don't get confused. :)

Honesty up front: I only 1p, basically for daily codestones, the Obelisk, and avatars. I have only enough to get one or the other, and am interested in upgrading about 60% surviving bigger foes (Cybunny Scout, but last time I was around DoN2 was broken and defeating her didn't award you anything), and 40% turning this slowly accumulated pile of NPs into an item so I can qualify for Bony Grarrl club someday. Also, I simply like the way Faerie Tabard looks, over the shield. I still RP my BD pet in my head, and she's modelled a little off of Talinia (NQ2), because I consider myself an archer (don't mind the dust on my arrows, grad school is hard).

I have Bow of Destiny, and Scuzzy's Comb. Jar of Brains. Lens Flare. (I do own Leaf Shield, and purple sticky hand).
Abilities: Following the TDN guide for those, so I have Lens Flare and Icicle. I LF off the bat, so free damage in the first round, then Icicle.
I don't really use much else, because hunting codestones I just load BoD and JoB, and Lens Flare and burn down Ghost Lupe (hp35). I see on th TDN Basic Weapons Sets that (moving from Intermediate to Advanced), I could go from Leaf to Shield or Tabard, and from Bow to one of those fancy swords. I'd like an all around upgrade since I can't really afford two sets for different types of challengers. I know that HNS is only 1mil more than FT, and has a little bit better def (all light +5 all others, vs all water +4Fire, 3Air, 3Earth, 5Phys... 20vs15...) But I'm not sure if it matters that much for my measly "beat all the 1p" purposes.
 
My NP income is really weak, and the NP I have came from sloooowly accumulating it with some lucky random events while playing NQ2 for my Bow.
 
I hope that mades sense somehow.

In addition to the suggestions above, I would also include getting the ability Lens Flair.
 
It will give you one free turn without taking any damage, freezing your opponent. If you can one shot challengers, it will prevent you from taking any damage :)

I've been playing grave danger in hopes that I might get some cool prizes, but I don't think I have ever gotten an awesome, expensive prize. Has anyone lately? Is it really just as rare as it's supposed to be? Should I keep doing it?

Image maps used to give me a problem a while ago until I figured out how to do them. If you're still having problems after trying what Emily said and the page she linked too, let me know and I can get the code done up for you. Ages ago I downloaded a program to do such things, not sure where but it was for Mac only. Just send me a PM if you'd like my help and I'll give you my email. Also you can look at the pet pages from my buttons in my signature to see how the coding is done if you like.

I like the draik best but I would add the Charred Steam Wings... It would lead nicely into a backstory about how he was once a proud draik who lost his wings in some kind of accident and now is sad, yet hopeful everything would work out.  

I really love the kau custmization you just posted... I'd go with that!

I love grey draiks. I like that even though they are grey, they still have a kind of hopeful look. I don't think the color has to match the name, but in this case, the color would still match though the pet doesn't look so upset. As for other possible colors, I was thinking some of the ghost pets have that kind of sorrowful look, if you like any of them.

Yeah, there were people who tried that on the boards and got nothing. I'm wondering if it might be a combination of factors. The fact that it started being awarded today makes me think it's a combination of time and something else. I'm really hoping it's not random after donating 7 days in a row. Random avvies during events cause riots lol.

I actually asked this question a little while ago on the boards! People on there told me that I shouldn't hide or change any of my pets names/stats that are on my actual account but the side pets you can link/write anything.. I'm not sure how correct this information was, but I'm always scared of getting frozen so I just left everything on mine and followed their advice T__T
