I really want in on this but I need two Cobrall Roots which are now going at 30,000 for the cheapest ones (and I can only find a handful total). I have the np, but that's not the point. I can't imagine this will be the only expensive item I'll need, looking at the other posts, or I might just do it.

I think Neopets tried to make this accessible to everyone by using abundant, cheap items and now people are ruining it by getting greedy.

I did not expect items to inflate that much wow! Some people on this website literally have no shame o_O

Hi, Saxen! I have 21 piercings myself but wouldn't recommend that you get your cheeks pierced because of the horror story I've read. Do you know of Elayne Angel? I think she holds a presidential seat in the Association of Professional Piercers--someone who had performed 1000s of piercings and has a ton herself wrote that her cheeks leaked because a portion of the partoid gland/duct [the tube that delivers saliva from the gland to the mouth] opened into her piercing channel. Her cheeks leaked [dripped!] for months even after removing the jewelry. She then used a cautery scalpel to burn the holes shut.
 
I summarized from her book The Piercing Bible, but that's brutal, right?! I don't mean to scare...but that's enough for me to not want them though even the dimple-like scars are cute--go for the dahlias!
 
Also, she doesn't pierce past the first molars and I can't find anything about dahlias in her book but I'm going to guess they're much safer than the actual cheek.

Obviously fair. They worked for it either by saving neopoints, trades or created it themselves.
 
It's not like you're limited to having one pug and you have to get a German Shepherd for your next pet because it's unfair to other pug lovers. :D

It sounds to me like you got frustrated throughout the game and you were looking for an excuse to justify quitting on him.
 
My worst horror story about key quest happened today. The guy was winning throughout much of the game, but through continuous powerups and delaying him (he had all the keys and I still needed 2) we ended up even and I was a turn away from winning.
 
He promptly quit, leaving me with 30 minutes of wasted time and not even neopoints to show for the effort.
 
On behalf of KQ players everywhere, I have to say, there's really no reason for you to EVER quit on someone, barring exceptional circumstances (stroke, heart attack, injured relative, etc). It really doesn't matter how cheap you think the other player is playing, or how sore of a winner he is. He's still winning, and you quitting means that he's just wasted his time, all because you're easily frustrated.
 
EDIT: Also, you might've given up 2 silver keys, but he just lost out on 2 gold keys. At least you had the opportunity to choose whther you want the keys or not. You made his choice for him.

I haven't played KQ in forever, but the only time I quit is when my computer froze on a mini-game.
 
To me, it doesn't matter if your opponent keeps using power-ups on you. If you're losing, don't quit. It only sends the message of "I'm a sore loser" to your opponent, and they have every right to be ticked off at you. :/
