I think stumbling on this post is so funny because I literally just came back from the tattoo shop! Sadly, they backed out from our earlier consult, saying they didn't think they could pull off the hyper realism look I was going for (computer ports that look integrated into my skin behind my ear-->cyborgian feminism). I got a solid recommendation.

I do have one tatt though. Its a Bansky/Dark Angel inspired tatt.

I love the fact that Neopia is more of a text-adventure than a 3D world. There is pokemon, countless apps, and even WoW (with their new battle pets) for that kind of gaming...Neopets offers something different and I think that makes it unique. Because of its text-limitations, Neopets (atleast used to be) super funny, culturally relevant, ect ect. I do miss that.
 
I think the move to an app is a great way for Neopets to get connected to a younger generation of new players. When I was a kid 12 yrs ago just started to play Neopets, all of my friends used to go on the computer after school. We used to go on MSN chat or ICQ, play games like Neopets, Alien Adoption, ect ect. And when one kid found out about a site, it spread like wild fire. Now, I see my nephews and they are rarely on the computer, opting instead to play on their cellphones. Apps spread the way websites used to spread. My nephews only seem to go to the computer with specific tasks they want to do (like Video creation). Maybe having an app will reach younger new players and bring them into the world of Neopia?
 
Though it is a scary question...can Neopets survive the 2010s? I'm not sure if they can.... :(

Saving 20 mill for collat could be a good goal though - and then just think, after the lend you will actually have 20mill to spend on absolutely EVERYTHING :D

I looked for a thread like this in here but couldn't find it so decided to make my own.
Tattoo art is one of my favourite things in the world, I love to look at people's tattoos and hearing about the stories behind them and of course, having some myself! I even like that weird pain that you feel when you get one.

It's on my left wirst. I know it should say "bulletproof" and not "bullet proof" but I liked it better this way, hahaha. I got it after a rough year, when I had to handle with some pretty rough situations. I would tell the whole story but I don't thing that telling it in this thread is okay u.u but well, getting it was like a final closure for me.

This one I got it for my 19th birthday, it was a gift from a friend :) I wanted it like forever, I love cherries (well, not for nothing people call me "Cherry"), it has no deeper meaning than that, but I absolutely love it.
 
 
 
 
 
and my favourite, my elephant in my right arm. Is called Jacaranda and I love him. I love elephants since I was an early teenager. For me (this means, for me, not for traditional tattoo meanings) elephants represent inteligence, greatness and good luck, so having this little fella all the time with me is pretty comforting :)

Hi guys! First, Xandria, love it! One of my daughters is a cutter, her arms are *really* bad. My hubby and I have offered to help pay for tatts to cover some of it, and last time she was visiting some tatt shops one of the artists offered her a full sleeve if she comes back in 6 months with no new scars. She is doing good and has found motivation to find new ways to deal with stress. I love that this artist offered that, people in the body art community are so awesome!

I currently have 6 tattoos (2 of them are big) and I plan on having a lot more, including both sleeves being done. My absolute favourite tattoo is this one on my right calf (photo was taken straight after it was done):

I know this is an old thread and post... but I seriously love that tattoo... I've never really seen a white tattoo before either.

The TP is definitely full of sharks and false inflatations. When I *have* to buy on the TP I always watch the price over 2 weeks to get a better idea of the cost, to see its flunctuation.

Loving all the comments and diaologue! Ive been considering starting serious stamp collecting the last few days, but honestly the idea of not completing the pages/getting the avvie is a bit of a bummer, but after reading other collector's attitudes and experiences about the fun in collecting what you can has really motivated me to go with it.

Apparently TNT had an Advent Calendar animation about helping Maraqua shortly before the Curse of Maraqua.
 
I don't know if it will be a plot per se, but I could see a KI-repair-like event to raise Faerieland. I would have figured TNT would continue revamping other old areas of the site rather than revamping Faerieland again, and I thought the woodland touch brought a much-needed break from the pink/purple of the old Faerieland... but it would be cool if it brought the greenery with it. I bet the earth faeries would appreciate it, at least (as well as us humans who are allergic to pink and purple).

So, I'm sure they do look at Neopets related posts on there. That said, I'm also pretty sure they can't ice you or anything if you post something that might be rule-breaking on your tumblr because it's not on the Neopets site itself. As long as you don't mention your tumblr on Neopets -- ie. the Neoboards, in Neomail, put a link to it in your userlookup, etc, you should be fine.

Leave one tab open for Habitarium, leave one tab for restocking, and then play Key Quest on the last tab :)

Anyone noticed after playing turmac roll for a while you get real dizzy?? I got some mad luck and hit a personal high score, but afterwards the room was spinning :P
