Since I don't ever do Crafting Faerie quests, that means I can get 2 "normal" faerie quests for the rest of the week.  How awesome is that?

That's correct! That's what I have been doing this week. I also had some NC from an event, and faerie quest fortune cookies were half off. I'm getting 3 quests a day after resetting the crafting faerie ;)

Thank you both, that's what I thought I just wanted to make sure. I don't want to rush in choosing and then regret it! I'll take my chances.

So recently I received a gray faerie quest that ended up getting me a dip in the rainbow fountain.

I just got another gray faerie quest today. If I complete it and by some chance get the fountain faerie again, will it give me a chance to use my first one? Or will it void it automatically?

Sorry if this has been posted somewhere already. I saw where someone mentioned it but couldn't find it again.

The Sway has the refreshed quest request, so if you get a quest you don't like next week you can refresh for a chance at a better one :)

(assuming you chose Sway and they win)

Finally got another daily av. Kiko Pop. It's been soooo long since I've gotten a daily one, and I still have a ton more I need.

Nothing weird for me, I was awarded new avatar bronze trophy 200 NC and some ugly helmet. I did NOT get the avatar for the fall CC.

I believe @rntracy1 is right. The avatar was "glitched" and was awarding people the Charity Corner 2015 avatar, yesterday. It looks like TNT/JS fixed it. I don't think you will be able to get it, now, as you got the new one awarded.

 

Not liking what JN has to say about getting the new avatar for this CC event:

"IMPORTANT: If you already had the Fall avatar from the 2015 event (awarded via the regular means rather than this year's accidental re-release) it appears the new avatar is currently glitched and will not award."

I participated, but I think I was having some computer issues or something that week so didn't donate every day. I don't have that avatar, but a few other people on the thread said they received it.. I think it was yesterday? I need it :( :( :(

How many times have you donated? Is that what you meant with the 130, or you meant 130 items so you donated 26 times? I got the avatar (new) on my 205th donation which was the first one of today. Maybe you have to donate 100 times as well as every day? I did not donate every category every day, but did donate every category at least once.

I hope it's not a requirement, I'd have thought participation would be enough, without being FORCED to be on every day.

But then in the time I've been active on here I've seen people worrying before about needing to do [insert thing here] every day of an event, to gain [insert thing here] at the end of it, and so far that's not turned out to be the case.

I believe that's what you had to do for the last Charity Corner (which I did not ), but I could be mistaken. I wish they would bring it back rather than make a new one! Seeing those unobtainable avatars on my list irks me like no other.

Hmm....... 5 space faerie cereals only got me a moisturizing cream (worth about 5k). The cereals are selling for at least 30k a piece. 

I wonder if they will bring back the avatar this year and if so, how will we get it? Donate to each category each day? Or donate once per day?

Can't decide if I should keep trying my luck or make some serious profit!

Also lost some serious cash on slushies that were in my shop when this thing started! Nuts!

I can certainly sympathise with you on the stage fright part. :)

 

I've been playing violin for about two and a half years now (started when I was 25, so a little later than many!). I'm completely hooked and wanting to try piano and cello just as soon as I can afford the extra lessons. 

I've been thinking about this for the past couple of years! I will be 30 this year so even later than you. How did you start? Any tips on which kind to buy for most likely teaching myself at first bc I'm broke?Lol. I love any kind of music that uses a violin.
