Hey guys, I don't know if you guys remember me but I'm Dom, I posted my art here a year ago...

 

And I kinda went in the dark after that...

 

Had been busy for the past year, family affairs, a wedding, a very very unhealthy case of flu, and stuff like that.

 

But now I'm back! And I heard the news that Neopets moved to JumpStart and a lot more. I hope you guys welcome me back after disappearing like that. >_<

Sorry if I wasn't as active as I was last month, School has been distracting me recently.....I also have projects to do....

 

Oh and if anyone is planning to ask for a request now, well, it's kind of too late...I posted something on the art section last month but it seems no one responded >_> so maybe next time.....

I am currently accepting 3 requests, and I will either post it here or on my Neopet tumblr!

 

And I'm going to choose.....if that's okay. :)

So I got a pet spotlight this week, made me happy. Though there are some people who thinks my username is foul... >_> not sure about that.

On another note, by next week I will start a thread for taking requests, and I will post the drawings on said thread, it will only be a few slots so guys be ready :D

Ooh, do you use a tablet, or just a mouse/trackpad? I got a Wacom Bamboo tablet for my birthday recently. I plan to use it for many of my drawings. :)

Cool for you! SAI Paint tool seems a more user-friendly than photoshop, so I recommend it :D And yes I use a tablet :)

It's actually not all that rare; I average 1-3 bottled faeries from the battledome each day (I always fight the Koi Warrior because I don't have premium), which is slightly more than the number of red codestones I average per day.

TDN has a guide about faerie abilities at the Battlepedia here: http://battlepedia.thedailyneopets.com/index.php/articles/viewarticle/new-faerie-abilities. It tells you not only how to get faerie blessings, but also about the different abilities that you can train.

 

I haven't heard of anyone who was fighting in the Battledome and received a blessing. The Battlepedia staff may need to look into this more.

You can actually get the bottles when you fight any challenger on 1st player. Though it's a rare chance, it's a general drop like codestones as well :D

You can find faerie blessings on auctions or finding it through shop wizard. Fighting in Battledome gives you faerie blessings as well, though not as common. But if your Neopet is strong enough you can go with that. I don't know any other means though.

Is it also considered lucky to have my neopet gained the disease twice in a row during the Wheel of Excitement? That's 16k of neopoints I ain't getting back XD.....

At least I consider it lucky for having my pet increase their endurance by 3 points.

Luckiest moment......finding 10k neopoints at the forgotten shore...that's it.........I have the worst luck.

Your drawings are freaking amazing. :D I love the 'waves' comic. (I would like it if TDNF let me like posts again <_<) That's the first time I've actually laughed out loud at somebody's Neopets comic/drawing. :laughingsmiley:

 

And like Yumi said, if you keep posting drawings I'm going to have to ask you for one. I love the style and your ability to actually draw a neopet in an anthro style and not have it look like a person wearing a Neopets costume. :P (which is what my pets look like when I try to draw them anthro style, or any style at all...)
