  1. The only way (that I know of) to decrease a pet's HP is to use a vortex negg. However, this can also raise the pet's HP, give your pet neggitus or change your pet's colour to Red, Yellow, Green or Blue, so it is not reliable and not worth it on a pet with an expensive colour.

  2. Armour Neggs are probably your best option for training defence.

For HP, I'd say normal training is the best option, as faerie queen neggs cost over 100k.

Many people seem to like kitchen quests, but as they award the stats (which can be any stat and are not always the reward) to a random pet, it would require only the pet you were training to be on the account, otherwise it would definitely not be as good.

  3. For 1-player battledome, lens flare isn't necessary, though, so lab rats aren't redundant for their original purpose.

I would say that constant-wise, you should at least upgrade the RSB to a battle buddy, despite Lamppost saying that your constants are fine as they are. I'd recommend also upgrading your Bow of Destiny to a Skarls Hasty Mace if you're willing to spend that much. I'd say to definitely get an Altadorian Swordbreaker and a Parasol of Unfortunate Demise as well. I'd say that in terms of everything else, Lamppost gave all the advice that you need.

  4. Assuming you want to get a large amount of battling in, I wouldn't recommend the one use items, although fragile things like ancient lupe wand can be quite useful.

Winged scarab sells for less than the swordbreaker now, but if you can afford it, swordbreaker and gbomb for ancient lupe wands and gbomb seem to be the best suggestions given.

My last post was based on the assumption that you didn't have any NP to spend, meaning only the H4K for wands/gbomb would have been possible from these suggestions, but you'd only need ~100k extra to buy a swordbreaker after selling the scarab.

  5. If I were you, I'd stick with the H4K helmet, since the lupe wands are a bit of a risk. I can't see any obvious cheap improvements to your set otherwise, since all the usual niche weapons have shot up in price, so I'd suggest just making sure you get one of the free abilities (level 1 abilities), since they can sometimes be the difference between winning and losing.

Also, if you keep your H4K, you can continue zapping during the plot to up your pet's HP even more.

  6. All in all, it depends how much you value battling. Scroll of Knowledge x2 is generally enough in terms of offensive power if you're just a casual battler, but you might want better weapons if you were more serious about the battling. Something worth noting either way is that Prickly Potion or Voidberry Potion would become better if your opponent's strength boost caused each of their icons to do more than twice the damage of each of yours, so they are definitely worth investing in.

Basically, get dual prickly potion or voidberry potion because they're incredibly useful against stronger opponents and in plots (I use them against stronger opponents despite having 10,000,00NP constants) and only upgrade your 11-iconers to 13-iconers if you think you'd rather spend the NP you have on weapons that will slightly improve how your pet does in the battledome than anything else you could spend it on.
