The Kookith begins wildly pushing buttons on the console, which looks to be made of cardboard and... Achyfi cans?! This can't be right! You begin formulating a plan to rescue your Petpet and run far, far away, but it's too late. The ray has already been fired... Whoa... did it actually work? Sure looks like it. Your Petpet has been transformed. Imagine that. You should come back tomorrow and try again! - The ray is fired at Flootenkerp... ... and she gains 5 maximum hit points!!!! Different Petpet Lab Rat this time, Hootenandy's Petpet and not Flootenkerp's. It was a Fire Raindorf before the change to a Black Wain. Also failed to post that Flootenkerp got a +2 Defence boost yesterday.

How many browsers have you tried to get HTML5 Yooyuball to work, but no luck? Not on Chrome (or Edge, Opera or other Chromium-based browsers)? Not on Firefox? Not on Pale Moon (or other Firefox clone browsers)? Apologizes for asking mate. I managed to get an 11 12 goal game earlier today since the Yooyuball "update" with the increased opposing goalie AIs. They may take away our ability to easily score sky high in Yooyuball, but when they take away our dignity, that's when we get mad! I was lurking on the Neoboards again, and fellow Neopian and ninja squirrel__girl has posted a great set of tips on the updated Yooyuball. Hope she doesn't mind if I mirror them here for the TDNers that don't actively use/lurk around the Neoboards (will remove if she does mind).

I apologize for the strange title, but I just wanted to let my fellow TDNers know that the HTML5 version of Yooyuball has been changed sometime earlier this late morning or afternoon. I've been lurking around the Neoboards, and people have reported a multitude of things about the recently updated version of Yooyuball including: Starting with the bad ones first: The goalie on the opposing team has increased AI, which makes it harder to score goals quick and easy. This has affected the GPG averages of many Altador Cup players negatively since they have been often getting around 8 or 9 goals tops per game as opposed to around 13 or 14 goals per game. The game starts off with a Snow Yooyu (or appears to be one) rather than a standard Yooyu, but behaves like a standard Yooyu. Additionally, every proper Snow Yooyu after the first one is invisible for some reason, but you can still see their shadow. Darigan Yooyus have become much more evil and erratic than they were based on what I'm seeing from other players. They can be just as much of a game ender than the Blue Spiny Shells from the Mario Kart games. Powerups tend to be very rare early on, but start showing up after around 2 or 3 goals. ...and the more proper fixes: You no longer have to zoom out to 50%-62% et al to click on the Play Now button. The game doesn't force the player into fullscreen upon clicking on the game, fullscreen is also optional. The Restart Game button is now present after the end of a Yooyuball game. Mutant Yooyus thrown into a goal are now acknowledged as Mutant Yooyus instead of a randomly changing Yooyu rotating from all Yooyu types except for Clockwork and Mutant itself. Stealing the ball from the opposing team's forwards and defenders works better than it did previously. Stealing from the opposing goalie still isn't fixed unfortunately. The Clock/Slowdown powerup no longer spawns. If there are other changes to the new version of HTML5 Yooyuball that I haven't listed, let me know. I've received reports that Mystery Island has Teylor Nix back in place of newcomer Tulay Ada. Those who play on the right side haven't been getting their scores posted on the opposing side. I'm glad that I got my Yooyuball games in very early today, GPG average poisoning is real with this update.

I'm not going to zap Flootenkerp's Petpet for around 50 days, I'm still missing the Harris Hi avatar for my collection.

After 12 days of Altador Cup quad-maxing, the Expellibox delivers.

First off, you're welcome. Here's TDN's Altador Cup Rank Calculator, straight from the site's own Altador Cup hub. It also goes up to Rank 20 unfortunately. Where's Lawyerbot when you need him? I'd like him to either sue, file a lawsuit or issue a subpoena on those Jelly Chia goalies for breaking your elbow. Seriously, I among others here at TDN would like to wish you a fast recovery and back at your job real soon!

The requirements for ranks after single All Star will get tougher and increase every 4 ranks (for example, the amount of required YYB games will go up to around 8-10 every 4 ranks) after you get Rank 20. I know most Altador Cup-savvy Neopians already know it, but here's AbsoluteCorruption's Petpage that I forgot to link to where you can keep track of the requirements to your next rank plus a leaderboard with the overall top 10 AC players and top 5 AC players for every individual team. It has target ranks from the usual first 20 ranks and All Stars from single to quadruple, it sadly doesn't have individual target ranks after 20 to choose from.

Just wanted to give my fellow TDNers a heads up from the Neopets Support page regarding upcoming maintenance:

I'm just going to leave this right here (spoilered just because):

Have you been stocking up for the next Charity Corner?
Tedhaun replied to Amanduh1021's topic in Neopets General Chat
I've been low-key stocking up for Charity Corner as well, that is if there will be one this year. Here's my current SDB count: Items: 8,205 | Qty: 24,111 (and counting) I'm not focusing on a single item in particular, but I have a mixture of dailies, wheels and Battledome spoils ready to donate for CC. I have around 8,500 points worth of goodies for CC and counting (unless if any item value nerfs happen towards items with certain keywords in their name regardless of how easy or hard it is to acquire such items). -
It's that time of year again my fellow Darklings, the Darigan Citadel support thread is back for 2021. If you're supporting or willing to support Team Darigan Citadel this year, look no further. We have yet to rank lower than 9th place in our 15 year career, and we did a great job at maintaining that in last year's Altador Cup with a 4th place victory. I'd like to congratulate anyone who helped us maintain our tradition of not getting lower than 9th place, you know who you are! If you have any contributions to Team Darigan Citadel or any wicked Darigan Citadel customizations to your pet(s) whipped up for the occasion among other DC-related things, feel free to share them! Despite the new Flash-free environment for this year's AC which will take some getting used to, I'll be giving it my all this year to keep DC within the single digit rankings. I've been practicing my Yooyuball and side-game skills for the past day or two and continue to do so all in preparation for the big event on June 7th. Despite being dormant here for several years before last year's AC, I've been with the Citadel for a decade now and plan to be remain loyal to the Darigans for the foreseeable future. Who's with me on supporting Team Darigan Citadel this year?

For some crazy reason, one of the Lottery Tickets I scored off of Dice-A-Roo today really came through. The Neopian Lottery avatar now joins my collection. Something Has Happened! You are now eligible to use 'Neopian Lottery' as an avatar on the NeoBoards! I've never won the lotto on Neopets before today, wasn't expecting to either with only tickets obtained from Dice-A-Roo, Wheel of Monotony, REs et al (I never bought my own lottery tickets).

Joined Darigan Citadel as usual hence my current display name. I've been trying to get the new Yooyuball game to run on both Opera and Pale Moon, but no luck since I'm stuck on the Play Now screen. The new version of Make Some Noise runs better on Pale Moon than it does on Opera to my experience and can get the minimum required score for MSN on Pale Moon too. The new version of SOSD also runs better on Pale Moon rather than Opera where it ran really slow, however the Jelly Chia goalie has slightly better A.I. this time around. Don't forget to fully charge your shots and pull off some diagonal shots if the Chia goalie is being a bother in this Flash-free version of the game. The new Slushie Slinger works fine on both Opera and Pale Moon, however the customers like to crowd up more in later levels and the Submit Points button is currently bugged at the time of this post and won't send. Press Ctrl + F5 while at the Slushie Slinger page to clear the browser cache for that page and you'll be able to send score for SS. I among others hope TNT is able to address these problems before the AC actually begins. Flash-free Yooyuball not working properly for many Neopians is a red flag knowing that it's the main event. EDIT: I've been able to get Yooyuball to run, but it's random on whether the Play Now button actually works. Game plays at a really slow framerate on Opera but plays at a more proper framerate on Pale Moon. I haven't been able to get to the send score screen in Flash-free YYB on Pale Moon but able to on Opera. EDIT 2: Don't forget to zoom out with your browser to around 62% or 50% after YYB fully loads in order to click on the Play Now button and get into the action. While on Pale Moon, don't press any keys on the keyboard while playing YYB otherwise the game will freeze. Mouse only if you're playing on PC.

Happy June and happy Altador Cup season everyone! Here are the free foods my pets chose this month. Two of the chosen foods are chocolate items though I already have these ones in my gallery, but thanks for thinking nonetheless. Not sure why my currently Elderly-coloured Lab Rat decided to go with baby food this month. Maybe she knows that elders usually can't eat more solid foods easily.

It's my birthday today (or at least at the time of this post), so I decided to play me some Dice-A-Roo earlier while I had the Birthday theme for the day. Apparently Gavril McGill decided to gift me a Piece of a Treasure Map as a birthday gift. Shortly after acquiring that Map Piece, I managed to win a Negg out of sheer luck (among other common foodstuffs) while playing my rounds of Dice-A-Roo. Not a traditional Random Event per se, but I'll take it! I usually get REs less often on my own birthday and on Neopets' birthday for some funny reason. I just wanted to share this nugget of birthday luck I had earlier this Neopian morning.

Headband thingy? That would be a head mirror, which is more often used by physicians and regular doctors as opposed to dentists.

I gave the pre-converted layout page for the Giant Jelly a shot, and got Jellies apart from just Lemon (namely a Mummified Jelly for yesterday and a Whole Blunella Jelly for today via there). If anything, it's only the newer layout version of the Giant Jelly that's glitched into giving most Neopians the same kind of Jelly for them for days in a row. If anyone asks, I had Flootenkerp as my active today and firefly_goblin as my active yesterday before getting my Jellies for those days. NOTE: Only use the pre-converted Giant Jelly page if you haven't gotten your daily Jelly from the Giant Jelly today.
-
Life The Jelly Keeper must be giving me lemons. I've been getting Lemon Jellies more often than usual over at my end for the past few days. I'll have to experiment tomorrow with another pet who isn't Flootenkerp to see if I get a Jelly that isn't a Lemon one.

The Discarded Magical Blue Grundo Plushie of Prosperity
Tedhaun replied to kaltes_bueffet's topic in Neopets Dailies
I was trying to wish for a random goodie bag from the Wishing Well a few days ago after seeing various TDNers having success with it, but no luck on my end. Maybe this Grundo Plushie knew I was trying to wish for random Goodie Bags and came through with one or it could be a sheer coincidence. -
The dudes at Andkon Arcade can be of assistance if you want to play Flash games (and Shockwave ones as well) in 2021. You'll need Pale Moon browser and a non-time bombed version of Flash (version 32.0.0.371 is the last known Flash version before Adobe time-bombed the Flash player in all releases made after June 2020). Here's their guide.

Just click on "Shops" on the above toolbar on the new layout, and click on "My Shop" (the second option under the NP section), and you'll be taken to your usershop (which has still yet to be converted at the time of this post). You'll find the Quick Stock and SDB links still intact on that very page.

This happened at utter random, but I managed to find my Magma Pool time after over a decade of not knowing it. My Magma Pool time is sometime around 10:15 PM NST.

My Petpet Lab Rat keeps getting all the better zaps in contrast to my Neopet Lab Rat, I don't even know if want to change my Petpet Lab Rat after this. Got a Hoagie Kadoatie zap on my Petpet Lab Rat (formerly a Cloud Barbat before today's zap). The Kookith begins wildly pushing buttons on the console, which looks to be made of cardboard and...
